The following morning Brian picked me up and Blain joined us since well it was a free ride. I enjoyed my brothers company and him getting to like Brian was already in action. When we arrived school Brian and I had a little chat and we made out in the car. I needed him to distract me from all that was happening in my life. Max wasnt at school and i got worried about him. After school i asked Leighna to drop me at his house and i told dad that i would be a little late that day. I found Max's mother in the living room  looking at some albums and she asked  me to join her. She had her own way of welcoming everyone with  big warm smile.
"Max you have a visitor" she called out.

She showed me some old pictures of Max and in some i couldnt  help but laugh. Max came down stairs in his sweat pants and a plain black t-shirt. He was surprised to see me and he asked me to follow him to his room. I thanked his mother for her company. When we got to his room he locked it and asked  me what i was doing at his house.
"I came to check up on you" i said sitting beside him.
" i am just not feeling well and besides shouldnt you be with your boyfriend sucking each others faces out. " he said bitterly as he stood up.
"Am sorry if you didnt want me here but i just wanted to make sure you were okay. Which apparently you are"    I said grabbing my bag and unlocking the door. I left without even notifying his mother. His block was a bit far from mine and i didnt mind walking anyway I already got used to it since dad got busy. I was full of rage  because of Max and thinking about him made me want to go back and just be with him no matter what was going on. I was about a block away when a car stopped beside me. I wanted to run but i remembered it was Brian's car. He unlocked the door for me and i got in. "what are you doing here all alone."He tucked my hair. I got goosebumps out of his touch but didn't want to face him.

"I just came for a walk and well as you can see I've found nothing interesting" he smirked and drove of.

"Let's take you home as you tell me what's really bothering you Lu." 

I played with my fingers then glared at him as he drove of. We didn't talk and it was really irritating. All i did was think of Max. I wanted Brian to be my distraction which he was but i think i didn't have enough of him.
"Brian please tell me that's not your house." I  shrieked in my sit.

He just smiled and parked his car. There were four more cars parked and i thought that maybe his mother had some friends over. Some old guy opened the door for us and i guessed it was his butler. I was really shocked and a bit excited. His mother greeted us in her fancy dress which  might have cost a fortune. Brian hugged her just like Max always did around his mom.  Some other men and a lady got into the living room all looking cheerful.  I held Brian's hand as he introduced them to me. "Finally we have another lady in the house." She hugged me.
"Thanks luoise for coming" she said breaking the hug.
I was still holding Brian's hand all through. His family was quite welcoming. I was expecting an overprotective mom and a brother or dad who expected more from him than just around the block girls. "Luoise, will you be joining us for dinner?" Tom, Brian's eldest brother asked. "Ummm..............sure Well if Brian is okay with it" i looked at Brian who was already agreeing. "Great now we have a full table." His mom said joyously.
Still holding to his hand he took me to his room which was like the size of our living room. He locked it and pulled me  with his arms around resting on my waist and mine resting on his arms. "Soo........ you didnt tell me you are stinking rich and had so many siblings." I smiled.

"You didn't ask" he said kissing my lips.

"Tell me what happened" he said while still holding me.

"What happened when" i asked looking at his beautiful lips and thinking of how delicious they were.

"When i found you" he shook his head.

I walked away from him trying to avoid his eyes when i answered him. "I was from Max's house" I strolled in his room.

"What were you doing there"

"Make out session" I  smirked.

He seemed to be bothered but didn't say a word. He was seated on his bed and i climbed on top of him. "You really think i could make out with another guy while am still with you" i grinned holding his handsome face between my palm.

"I am afraid of losing you Lu " he said holding my hands to his face.

"Trust me Brian, i am also not willing to lose you" i said as he kissed my palm.

We just stared at each other until a someone knocked on his door. I climbed of him and he unlocked the door. Dyan, his sister asked as to go for dinner. I grabbed  his hand and he smiled as we walked to the dining. His family was already settled. They began with a prayer before eating which was really not what am used to. At my house we would order Chinese food or pizza or cook for yourself if you were hungry. Well that was after mother left. "How did you two meet." Alan asked.
"At a party" Brian answered.
They didn't seem surprised but am sure if it were my family i would have already made up a story. Being around this family made me feel free around them and i learnt alot that i never saw happen  at home.
