The girl over there>>> Is Nella. The main OwO. Kay sooo..... Only a few characters will be mentioned. Because this the introduction, it will be boring.
I will try to add part of the next chapter at the end of each part, I can't promise though. I would have made an acc. sooner, but I was in the hospital and a bit tied up.
But.... Here you go :) The first chapter of Where the Shadows Hide. (Btw, shadows have barely anything to do w/ teh story. Just thought it was an interesting title xD)

"NEL!"My little sister yelled,"We're late, c'mon!"
"Fineee,"I said groaning,"tell Mom I'll be down in a minute." I hopped up, my black hair falling just under my chin. I stared at myself in the mirror. My curly bangs were pulled back, so I could see my blue-ish green eyes. I scanned my outfit. My black tank top was covered in rinkles, and my gray checkered shorts still ended at the top of my thigh. I could feel my white bunny slippers tickling my feet, I stepped back, sliding my slippers off.
I ran into my white and black bathroom, tripping over my hot pink hellokitty rug. I didn't know what time it was, so I just ran a warmish-cold shower. In about five minutes I was out of the house in my white top and black&brown panda hoodie that ended right below my breats. My black and gray skirt, with the skull belt, and black boots made my outfit. It was storming outside and I was smiling when I got outside.
This is my kind of weather, I thought.
I pulled my black and white sock-like things up to my mid-thigh. I started my walk towards the bus stop, along with my little sister. She complained as we stepped off of out yard, facing away from our house(http://www.arcadiahomesinc.net/arcadia_house_pics/2_story_colonial_farm_house_1.jpg).
"Then go through town. I'm taking the woods today,"I said rolling my eyes at her outfit. She was 15, only 2 years younger then me, but she dressed like she was 6. Today she was wearing(http://media.photobucket.com/image/anime%20little%20girl/crayalina/anime/anime%2520girl/girl.jpg) a pink and yellow checkered long sleeve dress with a black bow headband.
"Fine,"Sera said, eyeing the woods, like a scared cat. She took off running towards the bus stop, stopping by the post office to talk to Mrs.Neilson.
I hoisted my skele-panda bag over my shoulder, and walked straight into the forest mouth. My boots almost made no sound as I followed the train deeper into the woods, thinking about my moms complaint about me never wearing pastels.
-FLASH BACK >:D-
"Nella!"My mom said in a disgusted tone, eyeing my outfit with her green eyes.
"What?"I said, taking a seat next to my sister at the blue and white checkered farm table. I glanced out of the white shuttered window, watching a storm cloud.
"Why do you always wear dark clothes?"She complained, rolling her eyes, and her curly brown hair bouncing around her back. She pulled her yellow shirt up, along with her mom jeans.
"Because,"I said simply, poking at my cereal.
She frowned and told us it was time to go. I sighed and walked away.
-End Of Flashback-
I sighed, and started singing my favorite song:

With her little creepy face
Saying funny things that you have never heard"
I stopped walking, and lifted my head, my hair curling around my ears, and infront of my eyes, which widened. Barely 5 feet away stood 3 boys. Hot boys, may I add. The one of the farthest left was the most ordinary out of the three, but he was still far from average. He had blonde hair that ended at the bottom of his neck, and black eyes. He was wearing a brown sweater, blue jeans, and brown converses. He was smiling, his teeth were straight and white.
I switched to the next boy, the one in the middle.
He had dark brown hair that stuck up in random places, and piercing blue eyes. His white tanktop pulled tight around his abs, and his black jeans hung around his ankles. I wasn't sure, but what looked like All Stars. He was staring at me, more precisely behind me.
I risked a quick glance and was annoyed. The boy that was next to them was behind me. His shaggy black hair was pulled back into a small ponytail. He had sea green eyes, and a small frown. His chest was bare, and had on a pair of baggy shorts, and Nikes.
I turned around and quietly said,"Scuse'ums." I cast my eyes downward and started to walk away. Someone grabbed my arm and I panicked. I kicked one of them where the sun don't shine and heard a moan, along with a dull thud of someone hitting the ground.
I heard footsteps coming at me, so I ran off the trail and towards Jessys. She was an elderly woman whos house I'd stumbled upon when I got lost back when I was 6. It was an old cottage to far into the woods for anyone for any person to find. Except for me and Jessy.
"Hey!"I heard a deep voice call,"Wait up!"I took a deep breath and tossed my jacket off.
And then my body seized up and I only knew blackness.
