Kate was at the burial, not daring to talk or move. She knew that if she did, she wouldn't be able to handle the guilt she felt. She couldn't help but blame herself. So she sat there listening to everyone's cries and condolences.

'I can't believe I didn't see it. There were so many signs. I'm such an idiot!!!' She thought. She sat there feeling as if some was tearing her apart from the inside out.

A tear went down her face. She didn't know how much longer she could handle this anymore.

🦇After the Burial🦇
She stood at the exit getting ready to leave, but stopped. She intended to take one last look at her daughter's grave, but what she saw wasn't what she expected. She froze not knowing what to do. After staring for a few seconds she finally found her words.

"What do you want from me? Haven't you done enough?" She said with anger and fear running through her veins. There in front her stood a ten year old girl with long, wavy black hair and a school uniform on.

The little girl didn't say anything. All she did was look at Kate. Her eyes went completely black, and in a moment, she disappeared.

Kate was mad and confused. She didn't want to be in there any longer so she immediately went home and past out from exhaustion, but what she didn't know was that she already fell in her trap from the beginning.

🦇Three Months Ago🦇
Kate was sleeping peacefully and comfortably, at least until her eight year old daughter, Elle, jumped on her.

"Mom, wake up! Wake up!" She said with a big smile while giggling and holding her favorite doll in one hand. Kate was annoyed, but couldn't help but smile at her daughter's childish behavior. "Fine," she said while sighing. They both got off the bed and headed down stairs for breakfast.

Elle went to sit down at the table to wait for her breakfast. She pulled out her and her mom's chair, but didn't sit yet. She went to the chair next to her normal spot at the table and pulled out that chair as well. Kate saw this but didn't find it unusual since she thought that Elle just wanted more room to play with her doll. After a few minutes, Kate came back with their breakfast.

"Elle, put your doll down. It's time to eat." Kate said as she placed the food on the table. "Ok, mommy," she replied enthusiastically. Kate looked at the chair next to Elle. She found this strange since Elle actually liked things more clean and organized than any other eight year old normally would. 'Why didn't she push the chair back in?' she thought.

"Sweety, can you push the chair back in?" Kate asked. She expected her to obey, but instead Elle said "but I can't, My friend is sitting there." Kate was shocked but went along with it thinking it was just an imaginary friend. "Ok, but make sure to clean after your friend when she's done."

As the weeks passed, Kate could see Elle talking to herself more and more while starting to seclude herself from her friends. Kate started get a little worried, but still brushed it off thinking it would pass. It wasn't until a month had past that she started to get more worried for her daughter. Elle started acting different than her usual self. She wasn't as cheery and didn't hang out with her friends anymore. Two months has now gone by and it only got worse. Now Elle always looks unhappy, she didn't like being around people, started making messes, and shut her mom out of her life, as much as she could for an eight year old atleast. Kate tried talk to my to her daughter to see if she was getting bullied in school, but Elle immediately denied it and went to sleep. She even went to Elle's school and kept a close watch on her the whole school day, but saw that Elle wasn't the one being bullied; Elle was the bully. Though, the only other thing she did that was unusual was that Elle seemed to talk to herself all during school.
