I walked back to my dorm, smiling to myself like an idiot. As I walked it was only Ellie, Alex and Grace.
As soon as I walked in Ellie said "someone's happy!" And I realised how stupid I must look.
"I guess you could say that," Alex looked up from the book she was reading and raised an eyebrow.
"What's his name?"
"Luke- but we only want to be friends,"
Grace's mouth dropped open.
"Does he have blond hair?"
"Uh, yeah. Why?" I asked genuinely confused.
"He's mine. So don't steel him."
I don't know why, but my heart dropped.
"Your going out?"
Before Grace could answer, Alex said,
"No, but she's had a crush on him since first grade."
"Oh, ok.." I said, secretly happy. "But don't you like Skyler?"
"I like Luke also!" She answered quickly.
I just nodded in reply.
"Why are you back so late?" Alex asked.
"I had a detention, with Skylar."
All the girls gasped and I just rolled my eyes, walking over to my bed. Dropping my bag to the floor I slumped down and went on my phone.
After about half an hour of scrolling through social media sites and talking to my friends, all the girls went to bed one by one. I then decided it was time for me to go to bed. After I got changed into my pj's.
I climbed into bed and reached to the phone charger and skilfully plugged my phone in.
Checking the time I saw it was 10:30.
I lay back in the pillow. My last thought before I went to sleep was of Luke
