Chapter 2

Dinah POV:

Every since the party last night I haven't been in a great mindset, I can't believe someone would do that to me. All I've ever been to people was loving and carefree. I decided I should go on a drive to somewhere distant to clear my head, this is all too much for me.

"Mom I'm going on a drive I'll be back later!" The younger girl yelled to her mother.

"Okay please be safe and home by curfew."

Dinah grabbed her keys and put on her shoes and left her home, she just got in her car to drive. She knew she would come back home but she wanted to run from her secret for now.

As she was driving she realized she was somewhere she wasn't sure of and seen a building off in the distance.

"Well that's a little off" said the blonde until she heard help in the distance.

Normani POV:

"Lauren please let me leave, there's nothing for me to do about your father. I'm so sorry it happened to you."

"NO you don't get to say sorry and it be fine! You stripped him away from me and now I can only see him on special occasions. Maybe I should strip you down from your family."

"Lauren don't do this! You've been my best friend for years you know I would have never chosen for your dad to leave. Please don't do this to me. HELP!HELP!" The older of the 2 started to scream since her pleads we're doing anything.

"Shut it, damn it! I won't mind killing you if you don't be quiet." Said the Cuban.

"Please Lauren Do-" suddenly the teary eyed girl was cut off by a loud banging.

"Who the fuck is it! We're out in the middle of no where."

Lauren opened the door and Normani could see the girl was taller than her and had blonde hair. Is that the Dinah chick that goes to our school? Thought the dark skin girl. She's always found her somewhat cute, maybe she can help me.

"Help please! Please help me!" Said the distraught girl.

Dinah POV:

I knew something was off about this building in the distance, when I heard a girl say help me it brought back the flashback from that night and I knew I had to help her.

"Listen she's okay, she's playing a game right now and she's talking to her team members." Said the Cuban girl.

"That's strange, could I come and play as well?" The blonde said with a upset look that the girl was lying to her.

"Oh no, our boyfriends and stuff are here and we're all just hanging out bye!" Said the girl trying to shut the door but immediately felt a hand collide with her face.

"Ow fuck! Why would you hit me? I ALREADY TOLD YOU-" Said the raven haired girl but was soon moved out the way.

"Oh my goodness! Are you okay? Listen I'm going to carry you to my car-" but she soon felt a blow to her groin.

"Ow fuck! Okay bitch I'm done with you!" Said the blonde and soon was on the floor fighting the girl.

Soon enough Dinah got one good hit in and knocked her out.

"Sorry about that, are you okay? Let's leave so we can get you home."

"I can't move, your going to have to carry me. The guys she had being me here raped me on the way and now I can't feel my legs."

"Okay"

Normani POV:

"You don't know how thankful I am for you right now. Thank you so so much. I could never repay my debt to you. Let me take you out sometime just to show my appreciation and make sure you ice those wounds" I said.

"You can take me out sometime but before that happens you really need to take care of yourself, you need to file a police report against that girl. I'll need your number though. You should take a bath a soak in some epsoms salt when you can walk again." Said the tall blonde laying me down in a bed.

"I'll make sure of it." I said trying to give her a small smile but I soon fell into sobs thinking about what happened.

"I'm not really great at comforting people but I can give you a hug." She said with a giggle causing me to do the same.

She walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me. This is the most secure hug I've felt in a while.

"Thank you, let me have your number to repay you when I get to feeling better." I said.

She put her number in my phone as my mom came home and since she heard talking she ran upstairs forgetting her groceries.

"Oh my goodness mani! Where have you been and we need to get you washed up your clothes are worn and tattered."

"I'm gonna go see you later normani."

"Bye Dinah thanks again!" I yelled out.

Dinah POV:

I can't believe I just saved someone else's life and they ended up being really pretty. I know who Normani is, always though she was a beautiful girl but I never had the guts to go talk to her.

I'm not sure I know the full story but I'm glad I found her when I did. I suddenly received a text from a unknown number.

Dinah💛: your welcome, I've gone through an experience like that so I felt like I had to help you.

Normani✨: really? What happened if you don't mind me asking.

Apart of me wants to open up to her for some reason, maybe I'll help her if I do. But our situations were totally different. I'll just keep it to myself for now.

Dinah💛: not quite ready for that yet but I wouldn't mind getting to know you so I could tell you about it soon.

Normani✨: that's okay, wanna FaceTime?

Dinah💛: might as well

We ended up talk for hours on end, I learned a lot about what happened to her and why her friend did what she did. And little more and she learned more about me.

"This could be the start of something new."

"This could be the start of something new!" Normani sang causing us both to giggle.

"You know for someone who got kidnapped a few hours ago you sure are happy" I said

"I don't know but something about you makes me a little excited. You just saved me life."

"Oh trust me I know, girl you remind me every 30 minutes"

"I'm just so grateful-"

She was cut off by Camila.

"Cheechee! Where have you been all day? Oh cheechee talking to a girl!"

"Shutup Walz! It's not like that. I'll talk to you later normani, text me okay?"

"We will do" normani said with a giggle

"Cheech your totally into her"

"We just met and didn't meet on great circumstances"

A/n- how's it going so far? I'm really enjoying writing it. Reminder if it's kind of rushed it's because I'm not really into waiting for characters to meet for like 5 chapters and this is my first book🤷🏽‍♀️
