Eric's POV

We walk out of the car and was then meet by their group leader who is dressed in an ordinary clothes which makes him kind of look like an ordinary man or just say a slave of these people in back coats surrounding him.

"Oh.. it's nice to see the two of you. How's Ivan by the way" he said while looking at the both of us.

"He's fine. He can't die just like that. Turns out it was a poison though..." I said while walking close to him.

"..luckily we got him on time and they stabilized him already" Owen finished while closing the door of the car.

"Did you get her by the way?" I asked trying to make sure if they really had her since I don't trust this idiot sometimes.

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean" Owen said immediately protesting like a kid.

"tsk.. he doesn't believe you Owen. You need to be serious when you say it maybe you were laughing when you said it" he said while looking at Owen.

"Yup.. Eric she is down there. And she really had the guts to do that" he said patting my shoulders.

(We're close if you're asking by the way. We went to the same elementary back when we were still brats. The 4 of us always stay together and do stuff together like brothers to be precise)

"Serious.... Says the one who went and hide from his responsibility" Owen mocked making him stir and twitch.

His guards just stood and watch the two idiots. "It's like I have a choice to refuse the agreement" he said while pissed and glaring at Owen.

"Oh come on your just a pussy. You should have told your father dad I don't like it and I will do things my way.." Owen said while sounding like an old man.

(Here we go again) I sigh before going next to the opened door and stand there away from the fight which is childish.

(Basically he, by the way Jace is the next CEO of their company since something happened to her brother and he had no choice but to take it)

I stare at the two idiots who were now already exchanging words that have no sense at all while the guards just stand there and do nothing since maybe they already got tired of it.

(One time, when he refused the offer for the first time His father threatened him to marry his friend's daughter which is by the way something good. But he immediately accepted it since when we found out the girl. She was.. not that... no hard feelings but so so ugly that it made us want to puke)

I shiver at the memory. "Ugh.. that was a nightmare to be erased" I mumble while shaking my head.

Still the two are bickering and now it's too far from the topic that they had been discussing a moment ago.

"OH... SHUT UP already you two. That's not the reason why we came here" I shouted and they both stopped and fix their self.

"This way" Jace immediately said after composing his self.

"This way Sirs" a guard say and usher us to the locating where they put the girl.
