Thomas ★ Chapter 10

I am passing back and forth across the stage. Director said to take five, but I couldn't help but wait here until they got back.

And why did Y/N say 'goodbye' when she was leaving? Did they think they would fire her?! No! That would be all my fault! But why did she even scream? We fixed her rib...unless something else happened.

I snap myself out of my thoughts when I see Y/N in my peripheral. She is walking away.

"Y/N! Wait, what happened?..." Thomas asks.

"I just need some time to think," she says softly.

"What did he say? You can tell me,"

"He said I am not the same girl he casted, that i've changed," she admits, tears starting to fill her eyes.

"Do you have any idea of what made you change?" I ask, hoping it wasn't me.

Tears spill off her cheeks, "I need your help... I don't know how to do this... Please?" she says between sobs.

I caress her into my chest, stroking her hair to calm her, "I'm here for you.... please remember that...I'll never let you go. Tell me what I need to protect you from," I whisper.

She pauses, not saying anything back for a while. I wonder if she even heard me.

"Him," she says weakly.

Before I can ask who, a booming voice rises above us.

"HEY! DONT TOUCH HER!" a male voice yells, Y/N quickly jerks out of my grasp.

Then she approaches the boy that was yelling at us, he grabs her by her wrist and a soft whimper rolls off her lips, only I hear though.

"Fucking slut. How many times have I told you, bitch. When we get home i'm going to show you you're mine," Jack spits in her ear.

They fade off into the distance. Y/N doesn't look back.

At first I thought he was just the type to easily get jealous, but no boyfriend, or any person should treat Y/N like that. And what did he mean by 'show you you're mine'?

Whatever happens , I'm going to follow her, I have to find out if her boyfriend is really the one hurting her. If it is, then she lied about other stuff. But for what? Fear?
