It had been weeks since the incident with Thomas and Jack. You and Thomas have been happily dating for that time too. He was everything you hoped for, and he had never once raised his voice or threw a punch at you. He never insulted you or invaded your boundaries. Thomas was perfect.

But there was something eating at him, and he's been acting odd, he was holding something back, and tonight you were going to find out what it is.

Naturally, there was a part of you still scared, that he might lash out if you questioned him.

"Uh Thomas," you approach him, he's having a beer on the couch, reading a script for one of his acting gigs.

"Yes?" He asks, putting it down and giving you full attention.

"Is there something bothering you? About me? I don't know you just seem odd..." you say.

"Well...there is something, I wanted to wait for you to be ready. But it's about Jack,"

His name makes you shudder, you look at Thomas with fear in your eyes, wondering what he might say. Millions of thoughts running back and fourth.

"Y/N/N, he's still out there. He's dangerous and determined. I'm afraid he'll never stop. What if he comes for you and I'm not there,"

"What are we suppose to do? I know I'm too weak to fight back-"

"Hey," He starts, "it's not you. But we can take this to court. We can put him in jail, we can stop him forever!"

"Put him in jail?" You ask, "but he didn't kill me,"

"It's domestic violence Y/N, and attempted...rape,"

"There's no evidence," you explain, "it's our word against his," you say.

"Maybe not. Your bruises, and I'm sure there's cameras on set that have caught anything you can recall happening there," Thomas says.

You shake your head, wondering how you could ever handle being on the stand, speaking out about what your former boyfriend did to you.

"Just give it a try. He doesn't deserve to run free,"
