Ever After High- The mystery of Mia

Tonight....

"Hey there roomie!" Raven smirked. Mia sighed with relief, it was people she knew, Raven and Apple were her new roommates. She walked over to them, they were hiding something. Raven and Apple smiled and stepped aside, they revealed her hammock and her part of the room, they decorated it and Mia knew she had great roommates.

It gave off a forest atmosphere and her hammock had a forest pattern, her suitcase was beside it and it was still closed, Mia smiled "Roommates that respect my privacy" she thought to herself. Mia walked over and hugged them, she whispered "Thank you guys...". Raven and Apple smiled again and hugged her back.

Mia unpacked her things, hanging her bow on the wall, keeping her spare clothes in the case, putting her books up, setting her headphones aside on her bedside table. After she was done she looked proud. Mia, Raven and Apple decided to joke around and Mia  grabbed a few cans of soda and passed them to Apple and Raven. They all drank and then laughed, this was going to be a fun next few years.

Mia checked the clock "11:30pm?! Geez time sure flies, well we better get to sleep otherwise I'm gonna have a bad impression on Headmaster Grimm!". Raven nodded "Yeah we've not been caught but I don't want to take any chances!". Mia laughed, everyone got ready and Apple switched off the lights. "Goodnight Raven, goodnight Mia!". Apple said, as soon as Mia hit her pillow, she fell asleep.

Mia ran around in darkness, she needed to find a way out, but why was she wanting to? She heard the noise again, a growl, Mia tensed up. She looked around, wondering were that came from...A clawed hand lashed out at her, Mia dodged just in time, another clawed hand came and this time Mia got hit. She fell on the ground, it hit her at the side of her stomach. She looked up to see the monster, the one that came once per week, it haunted her, she was used to it. She looked up in fear, the monster lashed for the killing strike....

Mia woke up in a cold sweat. It was happening, tonight.....

She hurried, getting her spare clothes out and wrapping them up to look like a body, she grabbed a spare cloak to cover the clothes. She grabbed her bow and walked to the window,she aimed for a nearby turret, she released the arrow and she followed after. Mia looked out into the streets from the shadows, she was getting close to the forest and didn't want to get caught now. It was all clear, she swiftly moved around and finally arrived at the forest.

She checked her watch, it was 23:59, "Just in time". Mia muttered to herself, she went to a tree with carvings with the initials of couples. "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2....1". Mia said quietly, then a flash of pain hit her, she roared out, she wanted it to stop...but she couldn't help it, it had to be done....

Raven awoke to the sound of roars, she looked over to see Apple awake as well, 'Mia' stayed asleep, not even stirring. Raven didn't want to wake her so they stayed quiet and decided to ignore the sounds...

Mia looked at herself from a mirror on display, her sharp fangs, her clawed hands, her soft round ears, the tufts of fur on her arms...Mia just sighed, the day had been going so well and the curse just had to come and ruin it. She took the bandana, carefully placing the mask over her mouth to hide her teeth, putting her leather gloves over her claws and finally flipping her hood up. She looked at her disguised self...it would hide this, bear beast from the others, for now....
