Ever After High- The mystery of Mia

You're going to be ok....

Mia stumbled back, she couldn't believe they found her. She took a deep breath and started walking towards Ever After, she quickly climbed to her dorm and saw Apple and Raven still sleeping. She quickly cleared up the fake Mia and left a note on her hammock. She then jumped out the window and landed safely, she started walking towards the forest.

Mia found herself a quiet part of the forest, she leaned up against a tree and started to slowly fall asleep, it was winter after all, when she transformed into the hybrid in winter she was always sleepy. She closed her eyes and fell asleep, not realising that it was soon going to snow and someone would soon discover the secret because of it.

Crystal was confused and worried, confused because she saw Mia looked terrified at that Hybrid circus poster outside the cafe. Worried because she saw her walk off trembling towards Ever After, what could trigger her to act like that? "Maybe she just hates circuses...." Crystal sipped her cappuccino worried.

Snowflakes had started to fall, Mia was absolutely clueless, she was in a deep sleep, she was dreaming about the circus, how it tortured her, forced her to do acts that she couldn't do. She couldn't wake up, even if she tried, she couldn't. Someone else would have to wake her up, or when the transformation was over. Mia dreamed about the friends she made at the circus, Serena, Rose, Ace and Jake. Mia smiled in her sleep, that was the best part about the circus, the friends she made. They had a recurring joke where if one got tortured they'd say "It can't be worse than stepping barefoot on a LEGO!". Mia remembered the escape attempt, it succeeded and they all got to be with their families again. She was suddenly put in darkness, she saw someone in front of her, with a scratch mark, blood was running down it....

Crystal had to walk quickly to get back to Ever After, a snowstorm was starting, her father was probably in a bad mood, he probably lost monopoly again. Crystal walked up through the hallways to see Raven, Apple and Cerise looking nervously at each other. "Hey guys! What's up?" Crystal asked confused. "When I woke up I saw a note on Mia's hammock, I read it and apparently she's been out all morning and hasn't returned....". Raven said scared. Crystal's eyes widened, she looked out of the huge window, the storm was getting worse by the minute. Without saying anything Crystal ran back down the hall and went outside.

Crystal was the only one able to withstand this storm, but even she struggled with getting through it. She entered the forest and leaned up against a tree, how would she be able to find Mia in this storm? Suddenly she heard a muffled sound from the distance, Crystal walked forward and saw a clump of snow covering...Mia!

Mia backed away from the person, she didn't mean it, she just couldn't control herself, the person pointed at her, they were about to say something when Mia heard her name being called, "Mia?...Mia! Wake up please!"....

Mia slowly opened her eyes and saw Crystal with a few tears in her eyes, "Oh thank hex you're ok! I thought you wouldn't wake up!" Crystal exclaimed. She picked herself up and helped Mia up, Mia cleared the snow off her and realised the storm that was happening. "Wait, how are you not cold...." Crystal said when she felt Mia's cheeks. Mia realised what was about to happen, but she didn't try to stop her.

Crystal lifted the hood away from Mia and saw her two bear ears, her eyes widened and could only whisper "Wow...". Mia covered her ears with her hands, "Are they really that ugly?" Mia whined. "What? No! They're...amazing..." Crystal replied breathless. Mia blushed at this, no one ever said they looked amazing. "Would you mind explaining? You don't have to if you don't want to". Crystal said quickly. Mia took a deep breath, "It would be better if I told you somewhere that isn't snowing". 

They both walked back to the cafe they went to, Mia bought the coffee again for Crystal and herself. "So the way I got this was when I was a few days after I turned 5, we were at home and suddenly there's this knocking on the door. My mother walks over to open it and we see an old lady that's really mad. She started shouting about her house being blown up and then saw me hiding behind my mother's legs. She whispered something to my mother and my mother stepped to the side to show me to the lady. She then whispered something I didn't understand and then this red magic struck me. I opened my eyes to see myself as a bear sort of thing. My mother was shocked and immediately slammed the door and picked me up to see me up close. I transform once per week, it starts at midnight and ends at midnight...." Mia finished. 

Crystal looked at Mia, "You look cute like that Mia..." Crystal said quietly. Mia heard this and blushed again. "So is that why you looked terrified of that Hybrid circus poster?" Crystal asked. "Yeah, they took me away one day and they tortured me, I made some great friends and I'm scared they caught them and will catch me..." Mia replied. Crystal pulled Mia into a hug, she whispered "You're going to be ok...I won't let them take you again...". Mia smiled and hugged Crystal back, "Thank you...." she whispered back...
