Ever After High- The mystery of Mia

I hate mornings....

Mia took a stroll through the forest, it was a weekend, that's one good thing that came out of this, she transformed on early Saturday morning. She didn't have any classes and it was a relief. Mia checked her watch "4:30am, eh I'll go back eventually". Mia said quietly to herself. She saw a nearby river, she could smell...fish. Her stomach rumbled, being a bear hybrid it made her have a huge appetite.

Mia walked over and crouched next to the river, she listened quietly, waited a few seconds, and pounced! She caught a huge salmon with her claws, she smiled to herself, her hunting was getting better with each transformation. Mia thought about Crystal, Raven and the others, the feeling of guilt made her feel sick.

She wanted to tell them, but she'd get into so much trouble, and the tournament was coming up, Mia didn't want to risk getting kicked out, she had been waiting all her life for this. She munched the head of the salmon, she ate and ate but the taste of guilt wouldn't leave her. She finished the salmon and left the tail, she never liked that bit anyway. Mia put her head in her hands, why did she have to get this curse? Why did she have to be the daughter of a Queen, who when she was younger, made a deal with a bear loving witch?

Mia got up and walked into the town, she was disguised so no one could know about this curse. A few shops were opening now, it was 5am, so they were bound to, she looked through a few windows, seeing gifts and little trinkets. She saw a beautiful locket with little rubies put inside the heart, "That could be a nice gift for Crystal...". Mia blushed as she realised what she just said, she was only in school for a day and she was already in love, and they met by accident! Mia sighed and kept walking down the street when she knocked into someone.

"Oh hex! I'm so sorry!". Mia apologized, she bent down to help the girl up, then realised it was Crystal. "Sorry about that Mia! I just had my head in the clouds,". Crystal said, she was blushing lightly, "U-Uh, yeah! I was just looking at the shops, but, why are you here so early in the morning?". Mia asked, "I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep,". Crystal laughed, "and you?".

"I hate mornings so I get up early,". Mia replied with a shrug, "Wanna get some coffee?" Mia asked. Crystal nodded, they both walked to the nearest coffee shop, Mia paid for Crystal's cappuccino and her own Latte and got herself a slice of chocolate cake. "You didn't have to pay for all of this you know...". Crystal said before taking a sip of her cappuccino. Mia shrugged, "I didn't want you to pay, that's all". Mia quickly ate her cake when Crystal wasn't looking, she quickly lifted up her bandana to take huge bites.

Crystal looked so beautiful, her hair fell perfectly down her shoulders, her skin was clear and pretty, her eyes were like the ocean, Mia could get lost in them if Crystal allowed her. Mia shook her head and started to go red on the cheeks, thank hex for the bandana. She took another sip of her latte, and looked out of the window, it was now 7am and the streets had a few people walking down them. Normal people, people who didn't have to deal with curses, people who could live their life in peace...

Mia looked so mysterious, with her red eyes that Crystal was amazed by, her freckles that looked so cute, her hair that looked so soft and smooth, she was hiding some of these features with her cloak, gloves and bandana. Crystal blushed again, she was glad that they met by accident, even if it was pretty embarrassing. Mia looked so, sad and confused, what could be going in her mind that could make her look like that?...

Mia stood up and cleared her throat, " I have to go now, but I enjoyed the coffee, see you again soon?". Mia asked. "Yeah sure!". Crystal replied, smiling. Mia walked out of the shop, but before she did, she looked back at Crystal, she wanted to tell her, but...she couldn't. She walked out and saw a poster sign, the cake was about to come back up when she read it...

They were back...she thought she escaped them....she thought everyone escaped....they found her....again....
