"Gray" I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding in as is jumped into his arms. I wrap my legs around his waist and he hoists me up slightly. "I've missed you so much" I mumble into the crook of his neck where my head was buried.
"I've missed you too baby" my head shoots up and I look him in the eyes realising that, that was the first time he called me 'baby'. "oh I- I'm sorry... I didn't m-" before he could finish I crash my lips onto his. as I do, he walks forward and shuts the door behind him with his foot. smooth.
He puts me down a few steps in to the apartment. we rest our foreheads against each other, just taking in the presence of the other. "I can't believe you're here" I laugh a little and step back a little, "want a drink?" I offer as I walk into the kitchen
"sure" he smiles and follows me, looking around "you live here on your own?" he questions. I shrug at him and smile slightly
"its so big... and you're so tiny" he giggles, running up behind me, grabbing me around the waist and lifting me up. I bat his arms and try to get him to put me down. even though I am in fits of laughter I had enough strength to wiggle out of his grip. "I hate you" I laugh, turning around and smacking his chest
"fine, ill just leave then" he jokes, looking sad and walking towards the door. I run up to him and jump on his back giving him hundreds of kisses on his cheeks. "stop being so stroppy" I whisper as I get down walking back into the kitchen.
I finish off the tea and pass it to him at the island counter. "im gonna go get dressed quick. I have plans for today, well within the next hour actually. I run into my room and put shorts and a jumper on quickly.
as I walk back into the kitchen I see Gray completely absorbed into his phone. "ready?" he turns around startled at my sudden appearance "wait, we're going now!" he stands up and walks towards me as I nod. I take his hand and walk towards the door.
"where are we going? it's like 6 am!" I smile at him and say nothing, trying to keep everything a secret. we step into the elevator, taking us down to the ground floor. my apartment is 3 minutes walk from south beach, I can literally see it from my bedroom window.
"have you ever been to Miami?" I question. realising I hardly know anything about this boy "once, but it was just a lay over on the way to France" he looks so tired, yawning the last part of his sentence.
we start walking out of the building. it's not cold outside, but you would definitely need a sweater. he wraps his arm around my shoulder and pulls me closer, keeping me warm.
"Right so you've never really been to Miami unless you've been to South Beach, and you definitely haven't been to Miami." I spin around so that im facing him and walking backwards.
"Right, so that's where we're going?" I smile, grab his hand and start running down the deserted streets. we get to the sandy paths that lead up to the beach and I begin to slow down, nearing our destination.
we walk about halfway down the beach and sit, facing the ocean. "watch" I say pointing towards the sun in front of us that was slowly beginning to rise "wow..." he says sitting down slowly
the sky was completely clear, giving us the perfect view of the sunrise "how about a beach day today?" I ask leaning on his shoulder not taking my eyes off the view in front of me. I hear him hum in agreement. I knew that he was completely transfixed, exactly as I was.
(6:57 am)
we head back up to the house to get some money before we go out for breakfast. "where did you wanna go?" Gray asks, probably curious to find out my favourite places. "I mean, I didn't have a plan, but there's a place down on the beach that knows me pretty well. they're like family down there." I smile and shrug my shoulders like its no big deal. Gray lovingly smiles at me, I can tell that he listens to everything that I say "I went there every day for the first 2 months when I moved here" I carry on, knowing that he cares.
"what time do they open?" he asks, intertwining our fingers as we get off the elevator. "8" I reply confidently, knowing basically everything about them. I release my grip from Grayson's hand and fumble around in my pockets for my keys.
when we walk in we are greeted by the cold air from the A/C.
"did you want anything to eat before? I mean you've been flying all night"
"only something little if we're going for breakfast" he gives me a smouldering half-smile, making me blush for some reason. I look through the cabinets and pull out a box of pop tarts. I peer around the door at Grayson, hold up the box and raise one eyebrow. Questioning if he wanted them or not. he nods his head rapidly, giving me a big toothy grin. I giggle and walk over to the toaster, popping them in and walking back to Gray.
(8:14 am)
"You wanna head down for breakfast now?" he questions as an episode of Friends finished. I yawn and nod my head in response. I grab my purse and walk with Gray to the door.
the walk to the restaurant Is short and full of laughter. as soon as we walk in, all of the staff greet me and walk us to my usual table next to the kitchen. I would usually sit at the counter unless im with someone.
"Rosie, Rosie, Rosie, who's this?" Donna, my favourite waitress sits us at my table and gestures towards Gray "This is Grayson. Grayson, this is Donna" I try not to blush every time I say his name, but fail. he's just so perfect.
throughout the meal, almost every member of staff comes over to talk to me and meet Gray.
"pancakes for you, sir" Gray has his stack of nearly 10 pancakes placed down in front of him, as soon as he saw it his eyes lit up. something that only happens when you fall in love in the movies. "and a breakfast wrap for the lady " she winks at me and walks back towards the kitchen.
We laugh and smile the entire meal and I completely forget ever being mad at him. I don't bother bringing it up. I didn't want to cause any arguments. I didn't want to drive him away. I needed him to stay here with me...
"Gray come on no photos, I look like crap" I giggle as he tries to take a snapchat of me. I cross my arms and stare at him blankly, trying to play along with his little game
"gorgeous as ever" he winks at me and uploads it on his story "Woah, won't people question why you're here with me? your fans are gonna hate me" I laugh, but still kinda worried.
"Rosie," he says as he leans in and grabs both of my hands "I don't care what they think, of course the fans mean a lot to me, but you mean more" I look down and look back up to him smiling like a fool
"you have no idea how lucky I am to be showing you off to the world" he gets up and walks around to my side and gives me a big slobbery kiss on the cheek. "ready to go my girl?" he stands up and holds his hand out for me to grab. I bite my bottom lip and nod. I put down the money on the table and walk towards the door. I give a few of the people hugs on the way out and wave goodbye. I hold on to Grayson's arm and walk out the door.
