*5 months later*
Nothing was out of the ordinary in the past months in mewnie, Carla spend her days learning every hobby she could. She learned how to create Tapestries, clothing, furniture, as well as making jewelry. Never sitting down, she had a job working at a small thrift shop. Everyone knew her for the green attire she always wore, she stood out in the dull town of mewni and this didn't bother her.
Heading to her job with a smile, she was no longer worried about people thinking she was a dark witch. This new gain of confidence had attracted so many people to talk to her.
"What are you doing here? You look like someone who would live in the city." Said a young woman placing the items she wanted in the counter.
"I like it here." Carla says with a small smile. This was the normal thing said to her, people asking where she once lived, where did she get here money. She responded with plain answers, "I lived in the woods with my family, Well I make everything I own, no I never lived in the city, yeah..." etc. Mysterious rich girl, Carla heard everything spoken about her, as long as there was no foul speech about her. Her cover was fine.

Carla's POV
Another day of a normal person, I'm still not use to this silent life. There are days I actually wonder at times if my childhood was just a dream. I found a letter in my mail box, quickly putting into my pocket, I set my things down and sit down on my handmade bed. My heart pounded, As much as I tried I never forgot about Toffee and the others." I wonder if this was from Mayhem. Slowly ripping open the letter there was a single paper with a short note. It read,

Hey Girly!

It's me Mayhem! I found out I'm not allowed around your town since demons and monsters can't really be told apart haha!
I wanted to let you know that We didn't ditch you haha Rasticore says Hi but then he told me not to write that but oops I already did. Heheh We will come soon! Of course at night, when? I have no idea Toffee doesn't tell me anything.Wish you where heeere!

Love,
Mayhem.

I smile, I bet she wasn't allowed to send the letter haha. It seemed a bit dangerous to do that. I set the paper down on a small table, over looking my tapestries and wood work. Sighing I knew what I have to do next....
Flipping through pages my my journal Toffee had given me that I found within the backpack the day I got here, I looked at the plan I written out.
I was stuck...I didn't know how to get myself known to the royals...

That night there was a light rain, drifting off to sleep I suddenly heard a small knock at the door. I jerked awake, I was a light sleeper and this noise was so sudden. Lighting a small lamp, I walked to the door quietly.
Hearing a giggle, that I immediately recognize I swing the door open in excitement.
"Carla!!" Mayhem cheers and hugs me tightly, I tense up still not use to embrace. Past her I see Toffee with a light smile.
"Heh hi guys come in." I say in a small voice.
"Oh whoa look at these! These are cool!" Mayhem says feeling the tapestries hanging on the walls.
"Impressive." I haven't heard Toffee's voice in so long it startled me.
"Did you make theses?!"
"Quiet your voice." Toffee says to her and she sticks out her tongue at him.
" yeah I did." Mayhem continued praising my work I told her about the gossip around the town, talked about the people and everything that had happened when I left. Toffee never commented, he just listened, looking back and forth between me and Mayhem.

Toffee's POV
I found myself wanting to speak to Carla, actually having a conversation. I envied their friendship, but this stupid thinking was cleared away when I remembered why we are here in the first place.
Though I couldn't help but notice how much healthier she looked now. There was no more bruises and dirt, no dull and tangled hair. Her eyes shine brighter and her skin showed no sign of her every have living in the woods her whole life.  Never had I realized how much this would actually help her. Under the grime and dirt I can actually tell she was probably older than I thought.
I focused back to their conversation,
"Yeah I was thinking about doing that. Though I'm sure I can't move all of my stuff over." Carla said, what were they talking about?
"That's actually a really good idea, and maybe you can just like, rent a place over there and go back and forth." Mayhem added with a smile, Carla was in thought, where they talking about going over to the city?
"Hmmm maybe but the cost is a bit much to be going back and forth, ugh I don't know." She was frustrated. I was sure they where talking about the city. Carla had animals to tend to so that must be what the worry was all about.
"Mayhem could take over, shouldn't be too That hard, she can just stay inside. You can explain that you will be gone for a while and someone would be watching your home for you."
They both looked at me surprised that I was listening, even though I wasn't at first I made them believe that I was.
"I guess." Carla says quietly.
"Yeah totally no problem I've got this girly!" Mayhem says triumphantly. Carla gave a worried smile.
"Besides, If you get your work out there, so many people would buy it." I say looking at her work in weaving. It look flawless, who knew she had insane talent with weaving,
"Maybe even the princess." Mayhem says brightly.
There was silence for a moment
"It's late, sorry for arriving at this time, it's the only way we can get here without risk of being spotted." I say
"It's quite alright, I haven't been able to sleep anyway." She responds looking at a lamp on a small coffee table.
I stared at her eyes, she has two tones of color in them, green and yellow, How was that possible? A mix yes I can understand but her eyes were split horizontally with the color and it blended in the middle.
"Why do you think I have magic..." she says suddenly, the fire inside the lamp flickering.
I had nearly forgotten she had magic within her.
My heart pounded, I wanted to tell her everything about magic, everything about every dimension and about mewni history. I had a stabbing desire to share everything with her. Though my whole life was to keep my mouth shut which I was perfectly capable of doing. Trying my hardest to force myself to not say anything that revealed to much, I found that Mayhem was also in the corner sleeping. Suddenly a new fire of passion burned within me, This was probably the only time I could offer this knowledge before she was back at her tasks the next days to come....Surprising even myself I suddenly asked,
"Do you want me to tell you everything there is to know about magic."

His eyes were glistening even Carla knew this was not normal for toffee to be saying something like this. Her love for knowledge controlled her and she smiled brightly, "Teach me everything you know about magic." Carla says in a excited whisper. For the first time Toffee was filled with pure happiness, he grinned then with a determined look he proudly said,
"Carla, This changes everything...Where should I begin."
With that the next weeks where filled with Toffee spending days with Carla teaching her about magic. She had begun selling her own tapestries in the city, the word spread about her brilliant artwork. Carla was too busy with Toffee most of the time to even notice how fast she had gained popularity. It even reached the Castle at the time that it was nearly princess Moon's 14th birthday and it was tradition to have a family tapestry at this same moment in Time she had heard of the brilliant artwork of Carla Forge.
