I sat there with my pillow tightly held in my arms, thoughts racing through my head. I know for a fact that Toby likes me. The way he looks at me, the way he respects me, the way that he stands up for me. He doesn't do that for everyone else. So why would he do it for me...if he didn't like me? It wouldn't make sense. However, he could also just be trying to be nice.

My music keeps playing, as a slight knock sounded against my door. I paused the music, taking a second to at least ask who it was.
     "Uh....I-It's To-Toby."
My heart started to race rapidly.
      "D-did you st-sti-still wan-want to hang o-out?"
Why is he even asking? Of course I do!

    "Yea! Come in..."
The door started to creak open, revealing his precious face. As he stepped in and closed the door, he gave me a shy smile. I can't even begin to explain how cute he is. His stutters- the way he gets so shy. It's all so adorably overwhelming.

I sit up and pat the spot next to me, signaling for him to come sit down. His feet slowly start to pick up to walk, yet there's still a shuffling to their movements. His sluggish movements started to confuse me. Does he actually want to hang out, or is he just being nice because of what just happened? Either way, I think this is my time to make a move.

*Toby
I looked over at Jeff with a deep glare before rushing up the stairs. I quietly walked over to the door of her room, hearing her music playing. I stood there for what seems like hours, but what I knew was only minutes. Eventually, I got the nerve to knock. She paused her music and called to the door demanding to know who was behind it. My heart jumped as I tried to choke out an answer.

    "I-it's Toby."
There was a pause. I tried to speak more, asking her if she still wanted to hang out, hoping for a yes. I don't know what I would do if she said no.

     "Yea! Come in.."
With her words, I turned the door knob and slowly started to push it open. Once I was in her room, I closed the door and have her the best smile I could, trying to show her that I was genuine about hanging out with her.

I stood there, holding one arm close to my side with my hand. She pages me over with a pat on her bed. Is she sure? I can sit in one of her chairs. I slowly started to walk over, cautionary just in case she changes her mind.

Once I say down, she looked over at me.
     "Relax Toby."
She said this as she reached under her bed, pulling out a blunt.
     "Share?"
     "S-sure"
I never imagined this. I didn't even know she smoked. I slowly looked around and studied her room. Black walls, black bedding, a dark purple carpet, and dark purple tear lights on the borders of her ceiling. She has a nice TV stand with a huge TV above it, game controllers and their consoles covering the top of the stand; video games covering the shelfs. A few feet away from her TV stand was a book case full of movies and books, then there was a window with dark purple curtains and a desk on the other side of it. Her desk had a small cup of pens and pencils, a sketch book, laptop, and lava lamp atop it. Aside her bed was a dresser with a huge mirrior, and makeup covering its top. Next to the side of the bed I was sitting on were two mirror sliding doors that led into her closet. She grabs a remote, and hits a single button that turns on a network of LED lights around almost everything. They surrounded her TV stand, dresser, book case, and even get TV. I've never seen a room this decorated in my life. Her bedding is even super soft and fluffy, I guess girls like her just know how to design layouts.

She lights the blunt, taking a puff and handing it to me as she gets up to open the window.
