The next morning they all sat at the breakfast table bright and early, which meant there was going to be a long day of training. They both knew this was gonna be exhausting. At the table, no matter what meal the usual set up was the omegas didn't talk unless spoken to. The alphas always led the conversations and made sure the omegas felt comfortable and were eating.

Jimin sat there and ate his food silently while he listened to his father and Yoongi's father silently discuss things. He knew Yoongi sat right next to him but he didn't hear much of his input even when asked. He wondered if Yoongi had a reason for this if or this was just how he was.

"You two have the first step in training today. It's a very intense first step but once you guys master it the rest should be easy. And soon enough the bonding ceremony will happen." Jimin's father spoke.

"Yes. So make sure you both work hard for this. Our packs are relying on you." Yoongi's father spoke.

Yoongi muttered a "yes father" and Jimin only bowed his head due to not being allowed to speak.

"Good." Jimin's father spoke.Breakfast finished quickly and they were led outside.

"In order to be the perfect mates...you'll both need to find each other in situations where one gets lost. This is designed for the alpha to find the omega. The omega, if for some reason, gets lost must stay where they are and not freak out. Fear can be smelled by stray packs or stragglers." Yoongi's father spoke.

"Jimin and I will go to a part of the woods and Yoongi, you and your father will do the same thing." Jimin's father spoke. Everyone agreed and soon enough Jimin was following his father who had a gentle hand on his back.

"Have you ever had to do this with mom?" Jimin asked out of curiosity to his father. His father is silent but eventually he replies with a simple 'mhm'

"There's reasons I do this for you." He said simply as they continued to walk. Jimin bit his lip but said nothing more all the way to the spot his father decided on.

"Good thing Yoongi has no idea where any thing at this base is...it'll help him learn how to get to you more easily." His father spoke.

"If he finds me that is... I doubt he even cares to try and find me." Jimin said with a small shrug.

His father sighs.
"I know you and him don't get along, but I would really love to see you guys try a little harder and maybe, just maybe be happy with each other. Your mother and I hated each other at first. I was the arrogant alpha and she was the one omega who didn't take shit from anyone, she still doesn't...and that's why she was my queen." He paused before he gave his son a smile, which pained him because the blind boy couldn't see it.
"If Yoongi grows to love you...he'll find that same fire inside of you that I found in your mother."

Jimin smiled softly.
"Thanks dad..." He said softly. His father nodded and gave him a gentle hug.

"Alright...are you ready? If so I'll need to let alpha Min know." He asked softly.

Jimin nodded before he closed his eyes and slowly shifted into his wolf form. A pristine white wolf appears and sits down patiently. His father smiled and scratched the wolf's ear. "I'll see you later. Remember try to connect with him...and he'll feel your presence."

Jimin nodded and he heard the sound of shifting before his father ran off in his own wolf form.

Now he was alone.

He closed his eyes for a moment and tried to think about how he would connect to Yoongi. He still didn't know how even then he could accomplish that. He felt so distant with the alpha and even with the events of the night before he still felt no connection.

As he's focused he hears an unfamiliar noise and his ears perk up. His eyes still useless in wolf form because regardless he has no sight. He remains calm even though his heart is only racing the slightest. Maybe it was Yoongi?

Yoongi?

No response.

He starts to worry but keeps it down because he tends to overthink these matters. It could be anything, or he could even be hearing things. His over driven senses do that.

His heart drops when he hears the growl again but it's closer. The strong putrid scent of another alpha drifts into his senses and his eyes open and he knows something isn't right.

Don't run. Stay put, your alpha will find you.

Those words from his lecture earlier go through his head. However he felt if he waited danger would come to him. He had to make a decision quickly.

Yoongi?

No response.

Alpha?

No response.

Before he was about to give up hope he eventually heard a faint sound of what sounded like Yoongi.

Runt?

Jimin tried not to react especially since he was in a dangerous situation right now.

Yoongi...something's not right...

There was silence again but he heard Yoongi's voice eventually.

Okay. Don't move. I'll find you.

No. Yoongi. Something's near or more like someone. I...I don't feel safe here.

I said. Don't. Move. I'll find you.

Yoongi I can't I'm sorry...

He eventually ignored the rest of what Yoongi was saying as the blind man stood on his fours before he listened for that growl again. Not even two seconds and he hears it and he knows it's close.

I'm sorry, Yoongi.

Quickly his wolf turns the other way and speeds away. The blind man being able to skillfully run through the woods. He's grown used to it, especially for situations like this. He hears the growl following him and he knows he has to make a run for it.

And he hoped for not only his life but for the future of the pack that whatever was chasing him wouldn't catch up.

So yeah. They can turn into wolves. Do I regret that...no.
