Unknown's POV
"So did you already threaten him?" I asked to the person on the phone line.
"Yes, I already did." the person answered, "If he tries to run then what are we going to do?"
I looked at the man inside the coffee shop, "Someone dear to him should pay the price." I ended the call still looking at the man.
"Let's just hope your father don't do anything stupid or else." I pointed at him like I was about to shoot him on his head.
Shifted my car into drive then drove to the office. I am almost near to my destination when I was caught in a traffic jam because there were two vehicles that crashed to each other.
I was about to call my assistant when someone knocked on my window. It's a police woman. It may sound cliché but I was captivated by her beauty.
I lowered my car's window. "Sir, I am very sorry for the interruption. Please follow the detour that we made to serve as an alternative way to your destination. Thank you very much." She said with a smile. I was still speechless because something is bothering me so I only gave her a nod then followed the detour.
"She looks familiar. I know I have seen her somewhere." My mind was still preoccupied by that woman up until I reached the Corporation.
As I walked inside the building, the workers greeted me with fear. I guess they are intimated by my aura or they are scared that they might be jobless in less than a second.
When I reached my office, my assistant told me that I have a meeting at 4 pm with my new business partner. I ringed my investigator then told him to give me all the names of the police women in the city. I opened my cabinet and took a photograph and saw her.
"I need to know her name cause she is the one I was looking for." I stared at the photograph and no doubt it's her.
"Sir, they're already here." my assistant informed me through intercom. I stood up from my seat then walked to the meeting room.
Everything went so fast that I did not absorb much information in the meeting. I was about to leave the room when my phone rang.
"Boss, he ran away." the person said, "What are we going to do?"
"Follow him, he must not get away. Send some of our men to go and get his son." I ordered him and left the building to meet the bastard who tried to run away from his words.
When we tracked the man's whereabouts, he is in the old warehouse in the cargo port. This man is a good escapee for his age, we drove all around the city for about 3 hours and now it's already dark.
My man called and told me that they already have the old man and his only son in warehouse. I took my gun inside my car's compartment and went inside the old building.
"Oh look what we have here." I mockingly asked the captives. "Mr. Anderson, why are you running away from my men?"
"Marco, please let my son go. He is not part of this deal." The old man begged infront of me.
"Oh sire you should have use your brain before running away. You know how I work, right?" I loaded my gun. "If you can't pay the price then someone dear to you will." I pointed my gun on the boy's head then pulled the trigger.
"NOOO!!!" The old man cried while looking at his son's lifeless body. "You will pay for this! The police are on their way to catch you!"
I pointed the gun at him. "See you in hell." then I killed him.
We left the body there for the police to investigate it and disposed all of the possible evidences.
I drove back to the city to cool myself. "Lost another bussiness partner." I stopped by at the nearest bar to get some drink.
I stopped by at my favorite bar when I saw the police woman again but this time she is not on duty.
I approached her, "Sir, you're here." she said. "She remembered me?" I said to myself.
I smiled at her, "You're off duty?" I asked her.
"Oh no sir, I am actually looking for Mr. Louis Anderson and his son, Ron Anderson. Someone reported that the father was missing since morning and the son disappeared in late afternoon. " she told me without a doubt.
"They're already dead." I listened to the woman's description about the missing people and they matched to the person I have killed awhile ago.
"Oh I am so sorry, I might be delaying your schedule." She said when she realized that she was talking alot which is cute. She really is the woman I have been looking for 2 years.
"No, you're not and actually I am enjoying your company. What's your name?" I grabbed the chance to ask this and hoping that she is going to answer me.
She smiled at me, "I'm Natalia Gomez. How about you?"
"Marco Diaz." I extended my hand for a handshake which she accepted happily.
"I finally found you, Natalia. Where have you been for the last 2 years? Can't you remember the last time we met?"
Someone's phone rang and noticed it was Natalia's. "Hello?" she answered. Her eyes widened and looked at me. "Did they found the body already?"
"Okay, I'll be there." she said then ended the call. "I am so sorry Marco but I have to go. The team found the dead bodies of the reported missing people inside the old warehouse at the cargo port."
"BINGO!"
"Do you want a lift?" I unsuspectedly asked. She looked at me for a second, maybe she is having a fight inside her brain if she's going to take it or not.
Then suddenly a man approached Natalia, maybe a police man. "Natalia, the inspector is looking for you. Let's go."
Natalia looked at me, "Guess I already have a lift, bye Marco. See you soon." she said and ran with the man to his car and left.
"See you soon, Natalia
