"Mom!"
"Anna! I also want to live!"
Anna laughed. "Of course you do. Charles look I don't want to die either especially in this way. In this place. In our house when it is burning. I'd prefer a peaceful death in our bed while asleep. Sadly though I don't think that will happen."
Charles nodded. "Okay I understand we have to save our son first. But I believe that I will make it out of here it is my final wish."

Lenny was taken back by his father's words but, also strangely satisfied and surprised by his father's courage. "Okay. So how do we plan on leaving?"
His parents turned to him. "Um...well isn't there a window in here? This did use to be a human house. What do you think Anna?"
"Hm... um... well I think there should be one somewhere around here. Where are we?"
His father frowned. "Hm... well I don't know."
Lenny walked around. "I think we are in... the...kitchen...?"
"Good guess! Let me see..? Do any of you see my apron? Or a pot? Or possibly a pan? You know what the table? Or the...pantry!?" Lenny and his father sniffed around. "Hm... I...I smell the...spoon! Well a spoon!"
"That would mean we are in the kitchen! Ok everybody I know where I am now! Follow me!"
Lenny and his father followed his mother going through many obstacles.Lenny recognized their location they were in the hallway close to the door now. "Wait I smell something familiar. Let me just go there!"
There was wood blocking his path to the smell. "Hello! Mom! Dad! Come help me here!"
His father cleared a small path for him. "There you go Lenny!"
Lenny went through the path.
"Marlene?" "What was that son?" "Mom! Dad! I see! Marlene! I see Marlene! Yay!"

"Lenny! Karla I see Lenny!"
"Marlene! That's good!"
"Hey Karla! Hey Marlene! It's me. Lenny!"
"Oh my gosh now hurry up! Lenny! This place is going to colapse!"
"Mom! Dad hurry up!"
Marlene smiled as Lenny walked to them. Lenny looked back. "What's wrong is Mom and Dad there?"
Lenny smiled. "Yeah they are."
Marlene felt happy as she could be. Were they all going to make it?
"Lenny! Marlene! Snap out of it! We have to leave! Now!"They walked towards the door but, weren't followed by their parents. "Mom! Dad! Come over here we are almost out! Just get through that small passage! And follow us! Now!"
Mom came out and followed them. They got out and waited by the door. They saw a head stick out of the passage. They all smiled. They were all going to make it.
Dad came out. The wood behind him falling down. Each step he took was followed by wood falling down. Then the wood was no longer patient it was going faster and faster. Their father had to run or he would be done. Their father started running faster and faster. He was right there in front of them almost to the safe zone. He was going to make it.
Then the unexpected happened...
Father slipped and was immediately crushed by wood. Marlene had watched it happen. His last words were "I love you all we are going to make it out of here alive. Even without this house we will survive."
Mother screamed and cried. Lenny and Karla had to hold her back or she would jump in the house.
