Chapter 15

My breath got caught in my throat as I felt my eyes gloss from the tears welling up in my eyes as they refused to let go off the tests in sight. I looked over at Derek, as I showed him the results. He grabbed the tests out of my hand as I heard him gasp. I felt his arms wrap around me as I held onto him, his lips kissing the top of my head as he picked up and held me in his arms. "We're having a baby.. Wow, I'm going to be a father!" Derek happily said as I laughed and nodded, holding onto him tightly. "We're going to be parents," I said, hoping my eyes don't let out any stray tears. I smiled up at him from his chest as he leaned down and pecked my lips softly. "I love you so much, I can't wait for us to become a family," He said as he cupped my face in his hands, guiding me to see him as our eyes connected and so did the smiles in our faces. "I love you Derek, I'm so happy!" I said as I let out a giggle and hugged him. Soon our embrace was interrupted by a knock on our door as it creaked open. Derek pulled back gently to see Kay, Meli, and Fizz standing in the door way with a worried look on their face, "Everything okay with you guys?" Kay asked as they slowly walked in. I smiled softly and looked back up to Derek's own smile as he nodded, "We've got something to say," Derek starts as he smiles brightly, "We're having a baby!" He shouted as the girls screamed and I hear some of the boys groan and cheer as I raised an eyebrow and noticed Zack and Tay exchanging $20, "Don't tell me you made a bet to see if I got pregnant right?" I said, rolling my eyes playfully as they nodded, "Yep, and Tay lost." Zack said as he placed the bill away in his pocket. I chuckled as Derek sighed dramatically pinching the bridge of his nose, "You guys are such baboons." He said as he threw the boys out of the room as the girls dodged his attempt and surrounded me for hugs, "Congratulations! Now, you're naming it after me right? I don't know about you but Kay sounds like a perfect name," Kay suggested as she flipped her hair as I shook my head, "Nope. Guys, we just found out, give it a few months to even know if she is a he or he is a she." I said as I heard multiple male voices shouting from behind the door to name it after them as well.

"Shut up! Now girls, if you don't mind, leave so I could be with the mother of my child now." He said as he opened the door and waved bye to them as the girls groaned and slouched away. As they walked out the door, I was met with warm arms picking me up, causing a gasp to escape my lips and a giggle. "What're you doing?" I asked as Derek laid me down and laid beside me, "God, I love you so much." He said as he pecked my face entirely, making me smile. I felt my body shiver at his touch softly, sending tingles down my spine as I relaxed under him, feeling his soft lips graze my cheek, heading onto my shoulder as I bit my lip in pleasure. I didn't let it escalate as I wasn't feeling too well, more like drained from the nausea and all the hype of what happened, but I'm still so happy to know I'm going to have a baby with the love of my life. A little version of himself or myself, I can't wait. I felt his warm arms embrace me as I felt my tired eyes close, a smile softly appearing on my face as I fell asleep, "Goodnight babies," I heard Derek whispered as he laid a hand over my tummy slightly, my smile growing bigger before I fully went to sleep.

The days slowly turned into a few weeks, and with that, my stomach began to show. I was getting dressed in the mirror as Kay wanted to hang out again since we've mainly been with our own men or her and Fizz going out while Meli and I would. I got dressed in a fitted black sweater dress with doc martens, brushing my waves out just as I hear a knock on the door, opening it to reveal my sister in a dark green sweater dress as well and white sneakers. "Hey, we both thought of the same thing." We both said in unison as we laughed, "Creepy but needed, feels good doesn't it?" Kay says as I nodded, grabbing my phone and mini backpack purse as we walked out of my room. We walked downstairs to see Derek over Zack on the floor...again, for about the third time this week as I groaned and looked over at Kay, as she looked over at me and took out her whistle for when they fight. I covered my ears as she nodded and blew it hard enough to get Derek to fall over covering his ears, as I chuckled and saw they got up, "You will never learn will you?" Kay said, putting her whistle away in her purse as they shook their heads.
