Optimus watched as Azles stood on a building looking down upon them and the sparkling's space pods. Her optics scanning everything, analyzing everywhere for danger. Her frame was stiff and tight ready to attack at the first sign of danger. When they launched the last spacepod an attack erupted between Decepticons and Autobots alike. Azles as a beast stayed close to Ultra Magnus as she fought protecting his back at all times. A bullet to her hip should of taken her down, but she continued and no one noticed. By the end of the battle Azles wasn't just covered in her own energon. Of course the battle ended when Optimus called a retreat to evacuation. Azles ran along with the others even though she was falling out of her beast form fast. She ran until the base was in sight her beast shut down and she fell to the ground. Bumblebee turned around to see Azles on the ground and stopped, an ran back for her.

I slowly blinked as a wave of pain consumed me. I looked up my blurry vision clearing to see Bee coming back to me. My audio receptors were ringing and Bee's derma was moving. I shook my helm and hoping that I was telling him to go with the rest when I spoke, telling by the fact he came to my side and helped me up with a shake of his helm. The stubborn bug wasn't going to listen. I wrapped my arm tightly around him and limped as fast as possible to get him to the base in time for launch.
"I'm old, kid. It's okay if I die, but it's not okay if I take you with me." I said to him. He beeped as if grunting at me.
"You aren't old Az, your just a pain in the aft." He said amused.
"If I weren't injured I would of hit you upside the helm." I chuckled deeply and warmly at him. He shook his helm at me while grinning.
"I couldn't survive without one of my best friends, now could I?" He asked softly bumping his helm against mine.
'Just like his father.' A voice whispered in my processors, I wish I couldn't agree with that voice, but sadly it was true.
"Bumblebee..." I said softly out loud while thinking.
"Yeah Az?" He beeped back confused as we were getting closer.
"If you find a femme, you like her and she likes you, and you promise her that one day you'll be sparkmates follow through on that promise even if you change, even if you fall for another femme." I spoke looking up at him as he stopped, staring slightly down at me.
"What do you mean, Azles? Did that happen to you? And yeah, why would I go back on a promise like that?" Bee asked as he looked a head and continued to walk.
"Because it's a rough spark break to put a femme that, who truly loves you through that, when the chances that other femme is just using you for her own personal gain." I spoke softly, Bee nodded as Ultra Magnus rushed out and help lifting me into his arms and rushing to the ship with Bee running alongside him. I cringed seeing him covered in my energon. Ultra Magnus set me down on the medic berth.
"Azles, I have to stay here, wrecker." He said with sad affection. I was puzzled for a moment before nodding.
"We have to hold off the 'Cons, you will be on Optimus' team, even more so with these injuries that you got in battle... Be a good beast..." He stroked the side of my plate, I purred leaning into it, nodding once more.
"Bumblebee will command your beast form, until I come back to Optimus' team." Ultra Magnus starred Bee dead in the optics.
"You take care of her, soldier." He said with almost a growl."Yes, sir." Bee beeped nodding as Ratchet rushed over."You can close your optics now, Azles." Ratchet said softly. I nodded before closing them to recharge.
