*Hi again! I was on a road trip and actually had time to get some chapters done (not alot, but a few) so yay!!!!! I know that this is a short chapter and the next one will be too, but at least I am getting some stuff done! :D I also know that this chapter and the next are really boring (just like the movie and have nothing to do with Aladdin and Aleah), but hopefully you like what I have in store for the next chapter with them.... As always, I LOVE comments/reviews/ideas so if you have any, message me or comment on the story! On with the story! :D
The Sultan was alone for a moment too. He sat down and looked at his model of Agrabah dishearteningly. "I don't know where she gets it from. Her mother wasn't nearly as picky." He silently wished that his wife was here now; she always seemed to have an answer for everything and she would have know precisely what to do in the situation. He also ackknowleged the fact the Jasmine was just like her mother. Kind and caring, but also had a nasty temper. He smiled remembering the times that he had seen his wife's temper and remembered his fear at her hidden dual-personality.
Suddenly, the Sultan realized that he was not alone. It was none other than the Royal Vizier, Jafar. He began to feel somewhat at ease that he could have some kind of confidant in the current situation. "Ah Jafar! My most trusted advisor! I am in desperate need of your wisdom"
Jafar gave an exaggerated bow, "My life is but to serve you my lord""It's this whole suitor business. Jasmine refuses to chose a husband. I'm at my wits end."
Jaffars parrot came along, "Awk! Wits end" The sultan smiled at the bird and reached in his pocket and pulled out a cracker and laughed, "Have a cracker, pretty polly" before stuffing the cracker down the birds uneager throat.
Jaffar laughed, "Your majesty certainly has a way with dumb animals" and promptly recieved an angry glare from Iago. "Now perhaps I can divine a solution to this thorny problem.
"If anyone can help, its you." The Sultan replied certainly.
"But it would require the use of a mystic blue diamond" glaring at the Sultans ring hungirly.
"Oh, uh my ring? But its been in the family for years..." truly not wanting to part with it but before he could say anything else Jafar's staff was pushed in front of his face so that it was eye to eye with the Sultan.
"It is necessary to find the Princess a suitor. Don't worry, everything will be fine."
"Everything will be fine" The sultan replied unknowingly
Jaffar sneered, "The diamond?"
The Sultan then slowly reached toward his hand and pulled off his beloved ring, " Here Jaffar, anything you need will be...fine" and the ring was promply snatched up from the Sultans hand.
"You are mose gracious my liege, now go along and play with your little toys" pushing a very confused Sultan towards the model of Agrabah.
"Yes, that..will..be...pretty... good" the Sultan replied confusidly.
Jaffar and Iago began walk away with a smile on their face and once they were out of eye-shot Jaffar rolled his eyes in disgust and Iago spit the cracker that had been in his mouth out and began yelling, "I cant take it anymore! If I gotta choke down one more of those moldy, disgusting crackers..... BAM! WHACK!" immitating punches. Meanwhile, Jaffar was entering their secret layer that lay within the palace.
"Calm yourself Iago" but Jaffars request was denied and Iago continued to rant as they made their way up the long fligh of stairs, "Then, I'd grab him and hit him in the head... WHam!"
Jaffar then said, "Soon I will be Sultan, not that addlepated twit!" Iago grinned, "Then I get to stuff the crackers down his throat!" Causing them both to begin laughing evily..... Mwa ha ha!
