I have a best friend since grade 2. He is sweet, caring, and sometimes naughty. He is popular in school because of his looks that's why many girls are going crazy when they see him. Aside from me, he has 10 best friends or should I say close friends who are all boys. When we entered middle school, I met a new best friend which is my unnie, she is 2 years older than me and his boyfriend is one of Bo Min's close friends.
"Da Bin-ah I can't go home with you today. I will hang out with my hyungs after school"
"Okay oppa, I will walk home with Seok Min instead"
"Yah! Don't walk with him or talk to him. He's my enemy"
"But....." I didn't finished my sentence cause the "queen" of the school approached him
"Uhm, Bo Min-ah this is for you" she handed him a box
"Thank You" he said and then she left
"You don't want me to talk or go near your enemy but you always talk to my enemy" I mumbled
"What did you say Da Bin-ah?" He asked
"Nothing oppa" I said then someone shouted my name
"Kang Da Bin!"
I turned around and saw my best friend's biggest enemy Yoon Seok Min
"Let's walk home together" he said while holding my hand
"Don't you ever go near my best friend" he said and take my hand from Seok Min
"What? Best friend? The question is do you really treat her as your best friend?" He asked
"Seok Min-ah"
"How dare you" oppa said and punch his face
The question of Seok Min made me think. Does he really treat me as his best friend? Or he only did that because of my mom
"Oppa stop it. Other students are now staring"
"So you're defending him huh? Who is your best friend me or him?" He asked
"Oppa, of course you are my best friend that's why I'm telling you to stop it before the disciplinary teacher knows about this" I said and he let go of Seok Min and left.
Weeks Later
After the incident, Bo Min oppa keeps on ignoring me whenever I approach him.
"Oppa!" I shouted once I saw him
"Oppa, talk to me please~" I said but again he ignores me
"Oppa, don't ignore me" I said and he turned around and put off my hand on his shoulder and walked away
"Oppa, what did I do wrong to you?" I asked
"Can you please stop following me?! You're so annoying!" He shouted and I bite my lips to prevent from crying
"O-oppa"
I said and my and his best friends came towards us
"Stop calling me oppa cause we're the same age!" He shouted again
"Bo Min-ah why are you shouting to your best friend?" One of his hyung asked
"M-mian-mianhe" I said and run away
"Da Bin-ah!" I heard unnie shouted my name
When I stop running my heart beating so fast and I can't breath properly. I went to the school clinic
"Da Bin-ah you know that your heart is weak and you run. Do you want to die?" The doctor asked
"I'm sorry" I said
"Next week you will have your surgery since your mom wants you to survive" he said
"Doctor tell me how many percent is my chance to survive?" I asked
"I don't know"
Once I can breath properly I decided to go back to my classroom. Once I'm on way to our classroom I saw Bo Min oppa and my biggest enemy which is the queenka. I hide behind the wall and listen to their conversation
"Bo Min-ah I like you" she said
"I like you too Hana"
Once I heard that my heart hurts. Bo Min oppa likes my enemy, and the thing is he didn't tell me. I thought no secret will be hide but he keeps a secret from me. Is he my best friend? Where is the Bo Min that I know? Where is the Bo Min that I like?
"Da Bin-ah"
Someone called me when I turned to my left I saw unnie
"Unnie" I said and cry
"What's wrong?"
"I want to die"
"What are you talking about?"
"I think I am no one to him" I said
"Don't tell me you want to die because of him" She said
"I have an operation next week and tomorrow I will stay at the hospital. I don't think if I can survive on the operation"
"Are you going to tell him?" She asked and I shook my head
"It's depend on you" she said
"Thank you for understanding"
Author's Pov
Today is Da Bin's operation. Her parents are waiting for her outside the Operating Room and praying for Da Bin to survive. After an hour the doctor came out
"How's my daughter?" Da Bin's mom asked
"I'm sorry we do our best but she is not that strong. The operation didn't success, your daughter is already dead"
The doctor said. Da Bin's friend hugged her mom to comfort her

The next day Chae Young which is Da Bin's friend is walking in the hallway going to her classroom but suddenly Bo Min approach her
"Noona where is Da Bin?" Bo Min asked
"Why?"
"I just want to say sorry to her" he said
"I-I don't know w-where is s-she" she stutter
"Why are you stuttering noona?"
"N- n.... Aish I should not tell you this because I promise to her that I will not tell you. But I think this is the best for you to know" she said
"What is it noona?" He asked again
"Da Bin she has a surgery yesterday but it didn't success"
"What do you mean noona?"
"She's already dead Bo Min. She don't want to tell you about the surgery because she thinks that you hate her" she said
"She's in the funeral" she added and left him
Bo Min left in the hallways and he didn't know that his tears are started to fall. He lost his best friend. He lost the one who always understand him. And he lost his first love. Bo Min regretted that he shouted at her, that he ignore her. He remember the memories when they are still child she always care for him but now he was the one who hurt her.
