We're Gonna Party like its... 1864

Damon's POV

"Elena," the last words on my lips before i saw white finally roll off my tounge.

"Elena, huh, so that's your sweet heart back home," a voice with a slight accent says.

Confusion consumes. what does he mean by back home aren't I in bed with Elena.

I open my eyes and look around. It looks like I'm in some sort of tent. I'm Lying on an old cot and in front of me sitting on a wooden box is the man behind the Mysterious voice.

He has short wavy dark brown hair, coffee brown eyes , and stubble both on his lip and chin.

"Where am I, what is going on, who the hell are you," I demand as I try to get up but a pain in my side makes me regret it.

"Wow I didn't know getting shot in the side made you lose your memory too. Do you seriously not remember me,. he says shocked. Then he gets up to come sit on the side of the cot.

So I was shot. Then why wasn't it healing. Maybe it was laced with werewolf venom. Oh god Elena is going to kill me. This means we are going to have to call klaus and get him to come home from his Europe trip early.

I'm still confused. that doesn't explain any of the key factors of what happened to me and what the white flash did.

"Umm you okay there Damon, your eyes glazed over and you looked like you were in some kind of trance." He waves his hand in front of my face

I return my attention to the dude sitting in front of me, hoping that he will answer my questions. Like why I'm in this tiny tent instead of my mansion and why he is here instead of my wife and how I got shot.

"Would you like to tell me why I'm here," I ask

"Well let's see Mr. can't remember you and me are here in this tent because something in our life caused us to join the noble cause to defend the south,"

The south?

"Where is Elena, please just tell me that and spare me the confusing details,"

" Again with this Elena. I've never met her but I would assume She's probably back in your home town along with all of the other ladies who's lovers went away to fight"

Oh no. you've got to be kidding me, the south? fight? this cot? I look down and see I'm in a uniform. It's all to similar. I don't know what the white flash it was but whatever it was it brought me back.

Back the past.

"Let me check your bandage," the man comes over gently removes the blood stained bandage.

As he examines the wound he says.

"This is nasty looking, be glad that your Elena isn't here to see this,"

"Is....is it spreading," I ask.

"No, why the heck would it be doing that you were shot with a normal metal bullet, I don't think it spreads,"

I don't feel feverish or feel hallucinations coming on. It doesn't feel like I have werewolf venom in my system. There is only one possible reason it isn't healing.

I'm human again.

Caroline's POV

(Two weeks after the flash in mystic falls)

I redial Elena. For the hundredth time.

"Caroline you haven't touched your Cheerios and I even put in your non-fat milk," klaus looks at me concerned.

"Elena and Damon frickin won't answer me, and I've called and left a million messages. what if something happened to KC,"

I say slamming my phone down. making my milk and Cheerios fly every where.

"crap,"

I get up and make my way down the short hallways of Rebekah and Marcel's guest house. I regret coming on the trip to Europe. I mean sure it's nice to get a vacation with klaus but I miss KC badly, and now I'm half way around the world and Damon and Elena won't answer my calls. Making me freak out.

I find the bathroom and lock the door. Then I start scrubbing my bath robe trying to dry off the milk

. Klaus starts knocking on the door.

"Caroline come on I'm sure everything is fine back home, maybe Elena and Damon took KC and Cody to the lake house and don't have cell reception."

Maybe he's right. I grab the handle to the door to go out and hug him.

But then.

Flash. White is everywhere. I close my eyes because the vibrant color hurt so badly.

I hear wind whipping around me and feel as though a giant claw picked me up and plopped me down somewhere else.

I wait a few minutes and then peek my left eye open.The white gone,

I don't notice anythings different until I open the bathroom door. instead of the narrow hallways of Rebekah's guest house. I walk into a huge hallway. That I've never seen before.

The floors are wooden instead of stone and there are candles on the walls.

"Klaus, where are you,"

I shout.

I pinch my slef to see if I'm dreaming because I have no recollection of how I got here.

What's happening to me one minute i was in the bathroom in my bath robe covered in Cheerios and milk and now... I look down at my clothes. Which........aren't my clothes. I'm standing in a full blown ball gown. it's has a blue and gold toil long skirt. With a sweet heart neck line and beaded shoulder pads.

Now I'm ever more confused. I start running down the hallway.

Looking for Klaus

"Klaus, where are you."

I continue running but soon the hallway ends a bright light at the end and classical music playing.

I stop running and step through the door way at the end of the hallway.

The room is crowded filled with people dressed in clothes much like mine. Ball gowns and suits. Silk gloves and top hats.

Maybe I am dreaming. I just stand in awe for a couple of seconds trying to wrap my head around everything. When a women in a green ball gown approaches me.

"Mrs. Michaleson. I'm so glad that you made it and just in time to toast for the new year."

She hands me a glass filled with alcohol . and goes into the center of the room.

"Citizens of Mystic falls I would like to invite you to raise your glasses the clock has just struck midnight,"

All around the room the ladies and men all raise their glasses.

"It is officially 1864 happy new year everyone."

( So second chapter! I'm going to give you some back round on this "flash".

so basically the reason why it brought Caroline back in time even though she was halfway around the world is because the spell spread,it took longer to get to her since she she wasn't in the town .

The travelers want to live in mystic falls so the spell is only affecting supernatural creatures from the town and since Caroline was made a supernatural creature in mystic falls she was taken back in time as well!

hope that makes since. Anyway I will plan on writing weekly updates and next weeks chapter will bring every one who was affected back to together or at least some.............
