Warning: This chapter will be shitty asf😭 forgive me💔

Laurent sat down on the floor of the dance studio as his students began to pack their things, a few of them waving bye to him as they left. He had been stressing so much it was to the point where dancing didn't even help. It started that morning when Alana was being distant. It was weird because the night prior, they went out for dinner. Larry was babysitting Calista for them, so they had time for themselves again. He took her to place where he first saw Larry again, but the food didn't taste too good so he took her to a souls food restaurant by their house. The food was amazing there, and she ate way more than he thought she would. After that, he took her to a park and they just sat and talked about any and everything, something he hadn't done with anyone before. Then they went back home and they watched a movie with their daughter and Larry. They were so good yesterday, but this morning she acted like that might never happened.

Her attitude was through the roof; every time he tried to talk to her, she'd roll her eyes at him, or shrug him away. When he asked her to do something for him, she'd tell him to do it himself. Even Larry was acting weird. He wasn't speaking to him at all, and he'd try to avoid him even though they were in the same space. The worst part about it was that it was their birthday, and Alana knew it just as much as Larry obviously did. It hurt because he planned to do a lot with her on his birthday, and it was hard for him to keep his composure during his classes.

"Mr. Bourgeois?" A girl said, startling him a little bit.

"Hi Tiffany," he sighed, giving her a faint smile. "You need something?"

"Not really," she said. "You just looked upset all throughout class today, and I wanted to know if you were okay."

"I am okay," he said, standing up from his spot on the floor. He ran a hand through his twists, oblivious exciting the girl. "Just some issue at home. I will be okay."

"Your wife?" She asked, stepping towards him timidly. "Did she do anything to you?"

Laurent frowned, looking down at her in confusion. Whether it was his wife, or maybe it was him, he wouldn't tell her. It wasn't her business.

"Do not worry about it," he said. "I will see you tomorrow."

"You can talk to me," she smiled softly. "I won't say anything."

Tiffany placed her hand on his arm and he looked down at it then back at her, narrowing his eyes.

"Move you hand."

"I just want you to be okay," she said quietly, licking her lips. "Even if it it means you have to use me to do it. I'll help."

"Tiffany -"

"Just talk to me."

She stood on her toes and she went to kiss him but he pushed her back forcefully, damn near knocking her over. Laurent didn't care about whether he and his wife were having problems or not, he would never stoop that low and cheat on her. Especially with a student.

"Get out," he spat, glaring down at her. "I will tell Jonathan to take you from my class."

Tiffany scoffed and she fixed her bag, folding her arms.

"I tried to help," she argued.

"No you did not," he scoffed. "You try to fuck a married man, and be a slut. That is not helping."

Tiffany went to say something but Laurent held up his hand, shaking his head.

"Leave."

Without another word, Tiffany turned on her heel, marching out of the studio. Laurent sighed loudly and he ran his hands through his twists, his eyes watering a little bit. He needed to get back to his family, and quick.
