Lewis POV
I was standing near the bar mixing with the guests when she walked in. She looked absolutely stunning. I, like most people in the room, couldn't stop myself from looking over. She had the attention of almost every person in the room and I don't even think she realised. She made her way over towards where I was stood, but stopped off at her dads table along the way, with Liam beside her. Her father stood up and gave her a quick hug. She stopped to talk to her father and I caught a glimpse of her laughing. The chimes of her laughter reverberated over the room and made me smile. It was contagious. She caught my eye as she was talking and she smiled at me. I found my eyes wondering down to her lips and I imagined what it would be like to kiss them. I shook that thought away, trying to sober myself up. She excused herself from her father's table and made her way to the bar. As she got closer to me I could see the sparkle in her eyes. She looked the happiest I had seen her. I let my eyes linger on her. Taking in her beauty. There was an ever so slight flash of pink visible on her cheeks and it wasn't her blusher.
"You look beautiful Ells" I said pulling her into a hug.
"You don't half scrub up yourself Mr Hamilton" she teased.
"Can I buy you a drink?" I asked.
"I couldn't possibly let a strange man buy me a drink" she winked. "But I suppose it would be rude to say no. Southern comfort and lemonade will be perfect."
"Not a champagne girl?" I laughed.
"Definitely not. First and only time I tried it I had to nip my nose! For something so expensive I never thought it would be so vile." She scrunched her nose as if remembering.
"You are amazing!" I said, my breath catching as I spoke the words. "I've never met anyone like you"
"Maybe that's a good thing." She smiled. "Although I'm not too sure"
"Ella Wolff I am not joking, you are a breath of fresh air." I placed my hand on the small of her back and leant in towards her ear. "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. There isn't a pretentious bone in your body, you have the most amazing eyes, you absolutely drive me crazy. And since the first time I met you I haven't stopped thinking of you, of your gorgeous face, your glimmering eyes, that body and those legs. I absolutely love it that almost every woman in this room is green with envy because almost every man in this room wants you. Yet I get to be the man you're standing next to and if you give me the chance to show you the real me. I don't know... maybe we could have something really special."
"Lew, are you trying to talk me into bed? Because you're definitely succeeding." She teased, moving so my hand would drop to her arse and I'd get more of a view of her cleavage. Instantly I felt something stirring down below. I moved myself so no one would see the effect she had had on me. She looked down at the tent in my trousers and pursed her lips, a small smile tugging at the corners. "Just so you know I'm not having sex with you on our first date. I'm not that type of girl. When we do have sex and I'm saying when not if because it will happen, I want it to be absolutely mind blowing."
"So this is our first date?" I smiled.
"Well if you want it to be." She blushed feeling shy.
"I would absolutely love it to be" I beamed back at her.
She drank her drink and chatted away to me. We spent a few hours together dancing and talking before she dragged me over to her dads table. I was a little apprehensive about it as I wasn't sure how her dad would be with me. We sat down in two empty seats Ella in between her dad and Liam and me on the other side of her dad. She kissed her dad on the cheek and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Thanks for inviting me along dad. This has been just what I needed." She smiled over at me as she said this.
"I'm glad you're feeling better. You'll always be my little girl Ella. Even when you're married with kids." He glanced at me as he said this. I felt really nervous. It was like he knew of my intentions.
"Oh I forgot 40minutes. I owe you a fiver dad." She laughed.
I looked at them confused.
"Dad and I always bet on how long it'll take Liam to start complaining about mum. I lost this time. Dad said 35 minutes and it took him 40minutes" she explained.
"See Ella I told you he was more laid back. I knew it would take longer than 15minutes"
Liam glared at Ella and her eyes widened.
"For gods sake Ells bells! 15 minutes. Come on be real!"
"I thought I was being real Liam. Not my fault you're getting soft old man!"
"Oi you're meant to respect your elders."
"Stop calling me that and I'll stop calling you old man!"
"Children!" Toto quietened them right away. His phone buzzed on the table. "Your old man can't party like he used to. I'm off to find suzie. Our taxi is outside." He pulled Liam and Ella into a hug before coming over to me. He spoke low "she's been hurt before son, look after her"
"I will sir, I promise" I vowed.
Liam and Ella were enjoying themselves on the dance floor. I took out my phone and left the room quickly. Liam was heading into town and Ella had said She didn't want to so I called a taxi for Ella. It was dropping her off and then doubling back to the hotel for me. I hung up the phone and turned to go back in but instead came face to face with the goddess that I couldn't stop thinking about.
"I wondered where you had gotten too." She smiled.
"Just calling a cab. I'm dropping you off on the way to my hotel. I want to make sure you get home ok." I blushed slightly.
"Thank you lew." She said moving closer and leaning her head on my shoulder. It was in that moment I felt content. I wrapped my arm around her back and pulled her even closer, kissing her on the head. We both just stood there quietly looking up to the sky, the moon shining brightly lighting up the many fields in front of us. The stars glimmered up above lighting up a path that didn't seem to have an end. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Kiss me..." she whispered, her lips parting ever so slightly. I leant down towards her lips, it was almost like there was a magnet pulling us together and when our lips touched I could swear everything stopped. It was like time stood still. That the only thing that mattered was in the here and now. That only we existed. When our lips broke apart I managed to take a shaky breath. I looked into her eyes, she didn't need to speak, and I knew she felt it too. All we could do was smile. Before the night was over I stole another kiss from her.
