Ella was sitting on the sofa watching designated survivor on Netflix when a car pulled up. She knew it was Cate by the sound of the heels clicking off the concrete outside. Once she reached the living room she slung herself onto the sofa with a sigh.
"Remind me never to offer to help out again!" Cate exclaimed.
"Catey, we both know that even if I did remind you then you would still go in. You're a total glutton for punishment" chuckled Ella.
"You know me too well Elly Mae." Agreed Cate.
Ella leaned over and rested her head on Cate's shoulder. They sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes.
"How was my baby girl" quizzed Cate.
"She was absolutely perfect for her Auntie Elly"
"Little traitor" laughed Cate.
"Have you chilled out yet?" Asked Ella.
"I think so" she smiled.
"I have a date tonight. I need your help with an outfit." Pleaded Ella.
"Shut up!" Cate jumped up off the sofa, causing Ella to jump in fright. Cate looked at her shocked "Seriously? Tell me who?"
"Please don't tell anyone Catey." Begged Ella
"Who am I gonna tell? The walls?" Laughed Cate.
"Lewis Hamilton" Ella replied.
"I don't even know the bloke, so I can hardly tell him" Cate rolled her eyes.
"No Cate, I'm going on a date with Lewis Hamilton." Laughed Ella.
"You and Lewis Hamilton?" replied a stunned Cate.
Ella nodded, laughing at Cate's shocked reaction.
"I have just the outfit in mind" smirked Cate.

Ella drove over to Lewis' later that evening. She arrived at the gates where she was buzzed in after confirming her name. She parked up in her 2014 black Audi A3, which looked pathetic next to his McLaren P1. She could see him standing at the front door whilst she was getting out of her car. He was smiling as she walked over towards him. He took a few steps forward to meet her and pulled her into a hug.
"Wow! Every time I see you, you blow me away." whispers Lewis as he holds her close. He pulls out of the embrace and takes a hold of her hand, guiding her into his house.
"This place is something else" she gasps. "I'd never want to leave"
"I don't really spend much time here. It's more of a house than a home" He confessed.
"We then, it sounds like we need to do something about that" she teased. He leant in and captured her lips with his. Picking up right where they left off last night. She pulled away slowly a smile plastered firmly on her face. She didn't know how it was possible that each kiss was better than the last. He gave her a tour of the house, each room decorated pristinely, and whilst she couldn't deny the house was beautiful, she could completely understand what he meant when he said it wasn't a home. It felt like it could have been anyone's house, lacking that personal stamp.
He lead her into a darkened room with 2 plush sofas, one behind the other, it became more clear as she walked into the room that this was his own private cinema. She suddenly felt really nervous as they sat down in the front sofa. She could see he had a pile of treats, a bottle of wine and 2 glasses next to the sofa. He began to play the film he had set up in preparation for her arrival. It began to play and she let out a small squeak in excitement.
"You remembered?" She said.
"How could I not?" He laughed. She moved over and leant into his chest. He wrapped his arm around her pulling her close.
"Thank you" she whispered. He kissed the top of her head smiling into her hair. She swallowed the lump in her throat and tried to fight back the tears that were threatening to spill. She couldn't believe he had remembered her favourite film. They had talked about so much last night, and she couldn't believe he had even taken this in. He had actually listened. They spent the evening watching her favourite films, curled up together on the sofa. It felt natural to them. They hadn't known each other long but they felt like they had been doing this for years, and not in a bad way either. They just fit.
Lewis had made sure the guest room was made up, just in case she decided to stay. As the last film finished he realised she was fast asleep on his chest. He smiled to himself. She really was perfect. He didn't want to wake her but he knew that he had to. He stroked her cheek gently, causing her to stir. Her eyes fluttered open, a sleepy smile on her face.
"Come on let's get you to bed" he said, leaning down to kiss her.
"I can't move. I'm too tired" she pouted. He chuckled before jumping up and picking her up bridal style causing her to giggle uncontrollably, which in turn cause him to start chuckling. Her laughter really was infectious. As he got to the top of the stairs she kissed him on the lips. "Where are you talking me?" She laughed.
"Guest room."
"I want to stay with you." She whispered shyly.
"Your wish is my command" he said quickly turning and walking back in the direction he'd come from before dropping her on his bed. He took his shirt and jeans off leaving him stood there in white CK boxers. He passed her a t shirt out of his drawer and she quickly went into the en suite and changed into it. When she came out Lewis was already in bed. He lifted the quilt and she climbed in beside him, snuggling into his chest.
"Goodnight Lew" she said lazily kissing his chest.
"Sweet dreams El." He replied, pulling her closer, as they drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
