Ash had spent the last hours laying on a cot inside the Lumiose City Pokemon Centre sobbing uncontrollably in his pillow, he would let it all out and then go into a sleep until he woke up again to continue crying. He tried to relive the last moments before his wonderful relationship with Clemont fell apart in a way he could have never imagined.

He felt terrible for not telling Clemont about his relationship with James, he thought he could wait it out and after letting things get more serious then let him know. Ash sniffled and felt sick to his stomach, Pikachu cuddled the back of Ash's head warming him from feeling utterly devoid of hopefulness.

Ash sat up throwing his pillow to the ground as it was completely wet and he needed to try to collect his thoughts in order to come up with something to say to Clemont. He knew in his heart that they were meant for each other, he would ensure that they were together.

Pikachu handed him a handkerchief and Ash wiped his tears away taking deep breaths while trying to set himself to the task of going over to Clemont's and working everything out. Suddenly, his phone buzzed and he excitedly picked it up to look at the text from Clemont that had come in. He opened it and saw the picture with the caption sent; it made his heart hurt in the most horrendous way.

Ash clenched his fist while swearing under his breath, he cursed Sawyer harshly. His memories flashed back to when Sawyer had pinned him against a wall to press himself on Ash pressing his lips and nudging his tongue on his mouth. Ash fell back in shock and it took him several minutes to regain his composure to shove Sawyer off who took it badly. After the assault, Ash didn't talk to him and Sawyer became bitter from his aggression not working to get him what he wanted.

Somehow Ash knew that this was a sick effort from Sawyer to mess with him but the real question was how he knew that this action would plunge a knife deep into Ash's heart. Now, he had to figure out how to put out the fires that surrounded the hope of his love life.
