Nia's POV
As mom and I walked into ALDC, I felt ashamed that I wasn't white.
If I were white I could dance this week.
"Nia!"
Abby greeted me.
"Go into studio A to watch the practice!"
I went into studio A where I found Gianna.
"Hi Gianna."
I said.
"Oh hi Nia. Why aren't you wearing dancewear?"
"Didnt you hear?"
I asked her.
"Abby cut me from the group dance because I'm black."
"Well, it IS called White Girls."
Oh. She doesn't care either.
The girls and Abby walked in.
"Okay girls,"
Said Abby.
"Before we start, listen to the song so you get the rythem."
The song started, and I listened to the lyrics.
"Mmm yeah, were white girls.
In short skirts and our hair in curls."
This is a really stupid song so far.
"Were white girls, we got each others backs.
Unlike those stupid slutty blacks!"
I'VE HAD ENOUGH!
I ran out of the studio, the cameramen following me to get a shot of me crying.
I went into the bathroom and locked myself in one of the stalls.
Mackenzie's POV
"-Unlike those stupid slutty blacks!"
Oh god.
Why would Abby choose such a terrible song???
Nia ran out of the room, the camera jerks following her.
I know I wasn't supposed to, but I ran out too.
I really don't care what Abby will do at this point.
"Nia! Nia! Are you ok?"
Oh great, the camera jerks are chasing me now.
"Get out!"
I told them.
I went into the ladies room, and since the camera jerks weren't ladies, they couldn't come in the ladies room.
"Nia!"
I said
"Are you alright?"
I asked.
"No, Mackenzie, I'm not."
You heard what Abby thinks of black people.
Stupid sluts.
I'm black.
So she practically called me a stupid slut."
I didnt know what to say.
I'll never know how she feels.
Then Abby's voice rang through the bathroom.
"MACKENZIE GET BACK TO PRACTICE!"
I left glumly.
I hope Nia will be ok.
