Two weeks had passed since I last seen Harry, school was in full swing and the air was getting colder. My dad was still insisting on taking me to school and my mother was still, well, my mother.

My feet were laced tight into my timberland boots as I walked down the chilled sidewalk. The breeze lightly blew through my hair and I shivered as it reached my neck.

I was on my way back from a walk in the park. I had been trying to clear my head of the thoughts that refused to leave. Surprisingly, my parents had allowed me to leave the house without them.

This is not how I had planned to spend my senior year of high school. This year is supposed to be the best one yet and here I was, wasting it away. For what? So my parents can control my every move?

I was done being held back from experiencing the world. I wanted adventure. I had a feeling I knew someone who could give it to me.

I called Caroline in need of a ride. She agreed as she picked me up on my curb again. I was still pissed as hell at her for leaving me but after all, she's all I have right now.

"Where the hell are we going Emma?" she questioned, pulling out of the neighborhood.

"I need to talk to someone and I don't have their number but i'm nervous they won't be home and-"

"Emma, slow down! I'm sure you'll be fine," she laughed, placing her hand on my shoulder to calm me. I returned a nervous smile and sank into my seat.

"Now, i'm gonna need some directions," she said, showing me a small smile. I grinned as I typed the address into the GPS.

...

A few minutes had passed and soon we were pulling into the drive way. I thanked Caroline for driving me as I waved to her before knocking on Harry's door. The door was slung open and there stood Harry's step dad.

"H-Hi, is Harry home?" I questioned with a small smile. The frown on his face showed he was annoyed with my presence. He finally nodded once and opened the door wider for me to enter.

"He's upstairs. Second door to the right," He clipped, leaving me alone in the large house. I creeped up the long staircase without a sound. I don't know what I was doing. I barely knew Harry and he barely knew me. Why was I here? Despite my doubts, I continued on my mission.

My eyes reached the doorknob of his large, wooden bedroom door. I grasped it firmly then quickly let go, raising my hand to knock first.

I faintly knocked on his door and a few seconds passed before it opened, revealing a horrible sight. Harry stood in front of me, his eye blackened, along with his bottom lip busted.

"Oh my god, what happened to you?" I gasped, my hand covering my mouth.

"Why the fuck are you here? What do you want?" he spit, glaring at me.

"I just came to see if you wanted to go on a walk or something," I smiled, nervously.

"Why the hell would I want to do that? Look I just happened to be there that night. Just because I saved you doesn't mean I want to fucking date you or be friends," he stated, a hard expression covering his features.

"That not what... I- I," I hadn't the words to speak, I just stood there, dumbfounded. I was an idiot for coming here. What the hell was I thinking? I'll tell you what I was thinking. I was being the stupid, desperate for attention little girl I was. My bottom lip began to quiver and a tear formed in my eye.

"Just get out of my fucking house, yeah?" he growled, growing impatient with me.

"I don't have a way home. I was dropped off," I sniffled, wiping the tear that managed to break loose.

"Fucking hell," he groaned, grasping his keys off the desk.

"Let's go," he motioned out the door.

"Where are we going?" I questioned.

"I'm taking you home. What else?" He rolled his eyes. What an ass.

I followed him down the stairs and to his car in the driveway.

"I still don't see why the fuck you're here," he sighed, pulling on the door handle.

"If you're so annoyed with me, I'll just walk home Harry," I stated as I began to walk down the sidewalk, pulling my jacket tighter.

"Get in the car Amelia," he growled but i don't listen. As I walk faster, he was on my heels.

"Amelia, get in the fucking car!" he yells, stopping me in my tracks. I turned to see his nostrils were flared and he was breathing heavily.

"Why do you care?" I whined, throwing my hands up.

"Because, if something happens to you, what will I do with myself, knowing  I could have got you home?" he breathed, putting his hands on his hips. I thought for a moment. He was right. Someone was obviously out to hurt me.

"Fine," I sighed as I began to walk back to his car. I hadn't noticed before but it was a black range rover. Very high class. All I had was a piece of shit that sat in the garage because my dad refuses to get it fixed.

I jumped into the now warm car and nuzzle into the warm seat. Harry got into the car himself and we were on the road in no time.

Harry seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me. He had been doing 50 in a 30.

"Harry, please slow down," I begged. Snapping out of a daze, his eyes reached the speedometer and started to slow down.

I took a deep breath as we pulled into my drive. My parents car was in the drive way and I knew I was bound to be in trouble.

"Goodbye, Harry," I smiled and waved.

"See you later, sunshine," he clipped. See you later? Did he actually want to see me again after today?
