ALSIE was somewhat of a mess. She would barely leave the 'safety' of her room, aware that the blonde demon wanted to speak to her, to ask more questions of the life she didn't want to remember from so many years ago. She knew that woman was a dangerous person now that she extracted the information she oh-so desired. It was only a matter of time before Alsie checked out and placed the key back on the hook. She didn't know if she could continue to walk the long hallways without getting a glimpse of silver or the smell of French perfume in the air. She was being watched by so many different entities of the building that Alsie felt like a freak on display.

Recently, Alsie was harassed by more spirits of the hotel. Sally was an occurring guest. She would laugh at Alsie's worry, her rotted teeth flashing at her as the drug head cackled at the way Alsie complained. The dark haired beauty didn't care much for that bitch's sarcasm and refusal to help her. Ms. Evers was somewhat of a light in the darkness as she cared more about Alsie, actually listening to her problem before her face would flicker with remembrance to continue with her day's endless work. She was a busy body that never stopped.

Alsie was visited more times than she can remember, just thankfully not from the other immortal inhabiting the large building.

Today, though, was the day Alsie walked freely outside in the world that seemed so unknown to her. The clouds were a depressing grey today, hiding the golden sun from the world below. Alsie breathed in the morning air, smelling the chance of a rain shower and the possible smog that she didn't remember too much from before. She will admit that a lot has changed since her last appearance in Los Angeles. She wasn't surprised by the higher population or the crime rate...just wasn't expecting such a disappointment.

Alsie expected a better change to her home, but she should have known. She could get better but the world would remain the same — disappointing. Alsie flicked the remaining bud of a cigarette from her fingers into the nearest trash bin, her painted red lips pouting as she glanced back up at the towering skyscrapers. She walked many circles this morning, trying to stop the chance of being harassed by the Countess. She could buy a plane ticket out of the country again. Maybe head back to Rome? Maybe even Australia?
