Clary pov:
"Jace what are you doing" "jumping" "fine" Clary said but she didn't really mean it she was going to follow him and stop him because she loved him to much and before he left he said "I love you Clary so friggin much" and kissed her passionately and walked off once he was walking to the staircase to get to the top of the institute once he he was at the middle of the staircase Clary followed he opened the door to the top and she followed Jace got on the edge and said "I love you clary" but before he could jump Clary ran and knocked Jace off of the edge and he hit the floor of the roof but Clary when she tried to save Jace she fell she was only hanging on by one hand and she yelled "Jace help!" And Jace got up quickly and got Clary from almost dying and he asked her "Why would you try to save me?" "I LOVE YOU THATS WHY!"And then she started to sob Jace came over and put her head into his chest and he said "Im sorry I just don't want to hurt you" and her response was "w..ell...You would have hurt me more if you killed yourself I don't want to have to live a life without you.
