"Wow Kyoya-senpai, that must have been so scary!"
"You're so brave, Kyoya-senpai!"
"Kyoya-senpai, I made you some chocolates!"
"A crazy woman with a gun, Kyoya-senpai! Oh my goodness!"
I groaned from my seat on a couch in the corner of music room #3 and rolled my head back on my shoulders.
Kyoya-senpai this! Kyoya-senpai that! It's all I've been hearing since the first damn day we were released from the hospital and returned to Ouran!
With a sigh, I stood from my seat and readjusted the sling that wrapped around my neck and encased my left arm before theatrically dashing towards the group of babbling teenage girls.
"Yes! Kyoya-senpai was so brave!" I exclaimed, pushing my way to the eye of the storm and standing next to the specked teen. "When that woman entered my hospital room with a gun and shot me in the shoulder, I thought I was going to die! But then Kyoya-senpai heard the noise of the scary gun and rushed in to save me! He was shot in the leg to protect his fellow student of our fair school!"
I turned to Kyoya at this with fake tears in my eyes. He was glaring at me. I smiled tearfully back down at his sitting form and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Kyoya-senpai is... My hero~!"
The girls began to squeal louder than I had ever heard before and when the Host Club ended a few minutes later, it took the collective efforts of both Honey and Mori to drive them out.
Instantly a bored glare replaced my teary eyed smile and I mumbled a curse under my breath. "What a bunch of fucking bimbos."
Kyoya grunted as he set and opened his laptop on the table in front of him, making me look down to him once more.
"Be that as it may, I would still prefer if you do not insult our guests, no matter how bimbo-ish they may be." He growled, pushing his glasses further up on the bridge of his nose.
I just sighed and rolled my eyes before kicking the crutches he had propped up against the table to the floor.
"Hey, Alicia." Haruhi called from across the room as she made her way towards us.
I raised an eyebrow at her expectantly.
"Was that story you told the guests true?" She asked, the other hosts joining in in curiosity. "You know, the one about the woman who shot you?"
"There isn't much-" one twin began. "-info about it on the news." The other finished. I didn't care to find out which was which.
"And you two haven't said anything about it either, Ali-chan. Kyo-chan." Honey said cutely, hugging his stuffed rabbit Usa-chan as Mori nodded.
The Idiot (I didn't care to remember his name) still refuses to talk to me and has lately begun hiding behind Haruhi whenever he has to stand near me.
At their questions, Kyoya looked up from his computer and glared at me.
I smirked down at him. "Oh darling, don't keep glaring at me." I said playfully. "You know why I had to do it. My reputation was on the line!"
Out of the corner of my eye, I watched as the hosts glanced between us in a comical manor.
"What do you mean, Ali-chan?" Honey questioned.
I smiled at the hosts, and placed a hand on Kyoya's shoulder once more. "I was the one that shot him." I told them with an innocent smile.
Kyoya scowled as I assumed he recalled the memory while the others all stared at me in disbelief and fear. "WHAT?!" They all cried in unison.
My smile never faltered as I sat down on the table, kicking Kyoya's crutches further away while I did so.
"I shot the assassin, then I shot Kyoya, then I shot myself." I said casually, glancing down at my perfectly manicured nails. "It was a terrible attempt on my life, really. Poorly executed. Too messy. I give it a generous three out of ten stars."
At that moment, my phone began to vibrate.
-*-*-*-
With a sigh, Alicia reached into her bra and pulled out the sleak black device. She smiled at the contact information before pressing the phone to her ear.
"Hello, darling." She spoke into the thing, causing the host club to wonder who it was she was talking to. They knew the mob boss called anyone close to her 'darling', but the way she said it this time held more endearment in it. More affection.
The twins, not entirely interested in it anymore after a few minutes, went off to their corner of the room to wait until the blonde girl finished talking. Tamaki, taking this as an opportunity to get away from Al Capone's great granddaughter, quickly announced his need for the restroom and sprinted out of the room. Haruhi rolled her eyes at this and moved to retrieve Kyoya's crutches from where they were kicked while Honey sat down at the table with the specked teen and was brought cake by Mori.
A few minutes later, Alicia hung up, tucked away her phone, and clapped her hands together as she turned to smile at the hosts.
"So, who am I taking to the beach with me, hm?" She asked, a calculating look in her steely blue eyes.
"But we already-" "-went to the beach." Hikaru began, followed by Kouru.
"Yes, but you've never been to my beach." The Duchess countered, switching her smile out for her usual puckered smirk and placing a hand upon her chest.
"Why are you going to the beach Ali-chan?" Honey asked cutely, finishing off his slice of strawberry shortcake.
Alicia shrugged slightly. "Business meeting."
The statement made Kyoya raise an eyebrow above his thin glasses frame and look at the blonde beauty from over his laptop. "Business meeting? Why would you want to bring a host club to a meeting of criminals?"
Alicia's smirk grew as she raised up four fingers and began to stalk towards the specked teen's table. "Four reasons." She began, sitting on the edge and turning to look at all the hosts present (Tamaki was still 'in the restroom').
She lowered one finger. "One: Hitachins, I simply love your mother's fashion collection, so you will be supplying me with all my outfits." She lowered another finger. "Two: Honey, Mori, since I sent my brothers back to America because they wanted to send me back, you two will be my body guards." She lowered her third finger. "Three: A... partner of mine would benefit from meeting a son of the Ootori corporation, mommy dearest." She lowered her last finger as she looked to the only other female in the room. "And finally, Haruhi darling, I just enjoy your company."
Said cross dresser furrowed her brow as she finished. "What about Tamaki-senpai?"
Alicia sighed in exasperation at that. "Fine, if you need to stay and make sure the idiot doesn't accidentally kill himself I won't stop you. But, I want you to keep an eye on my precious Ritsu. Can you do that, Haruhi?"
The brunette girl nodded making the blonde smile yet again, but it faltered when the twins spoke up.
"But we're bored of the beach already." Hikaru complained. "B-But if you want, we'll give you some outfits!" Kouru piped up, elbowing his brother in the side as if to remind him of just who it was that they were speaking to.
Alicia eyed the pair slightly, making them flinch, but shrugged anyway. "Alright then, that leaves me with no annoyances." She turned to look at the three remaining hosts. "So, I take it that the two of you are going to protect me?" She asked, pointing at Honey and Mori. The blonde boy giggled and saluted, while his cousin simply bowed his head.
Kyoya began to protest, but was cut off by Al Capone's great granddaughter placing a finger to his lips.
"You have no say in this darling. You will come to the beach with me, concious or not." She threatened.
The specked teen clenched his jaw but said nothing. There was no point in arguing with Alicia Capone.
