She Fell Sweetly (On Hold)

Chapter seven

Aria's POV

I'm so happy to be home safe and sound, I have to say it has been one of the worst jobs I have ever done!

The only person that kept me half sane was Floyd, otherwise I am pretty sure I would have ripped my hair out.

Today was a good day though because I was going to see Floyd and my boss was happy with my work, so he gave me another long weekend!

So I'm spending the the weekend there, I'm scared on how it's going to go because I haven't been sleeping well lately.

Parking outside of his shop, I couldn't help but get butterflies in my stomach, but I have to remind myself to be careful because God knows what could happen.

Walking inside the shop, and having a look around for the second time I can help but think that my column hasn't done it justice.

"Aria your here, come on there's someone I would like you to meet." Floyd said as he lead me into the back.

Someone was sitting at the table that looked alot like Floyd only younger he was also wearing sunglasses.

"Aria this is my bother Asher." I couldn't help but smile. I can tell how much Floyd cares about his brother from his facial expressions.

"Nice to meet you Asher." I spoke shyly as I took his hand in mine. I dont know what came over me to do such a thing.

Feeling blush cover my cheeks and go all the way down my chest I let go of his hand while mumbling an apology.

"No need to be sorry, it's nice to finally meet you Aria, Floyd has told me so much about you." Looking up I saw him wiggling his eyebrows at Floyd.

Laughing lightly I took the seat in between Floyd and Asher so that I don't look so awkward.

"It's nice to meet you too! So what were you to bros up to before I show up."

"Just eating food and drinking beers, Floyd where's your manners offer this beautiful girl a drink." Well Asher is quite a charmer.

"Shit my bad Aria, what would you like? I have water, juice, beer or if youd like I can run to the store and get you more of a girly drink." Girly drink? I will have him know I drink beer.

So I walked up to his fridge and pulled out a beer, and to prove a point I even cracked it open myself.

"Thanks Floyd I'll just have one of these girly beers of yours." I said with a wink while sitting back down.

Asher started laughing while almost choking on his beer while Floyd stood there with his mouth hanging open.

I couldn't help but smile cheekily while drinking my beer.

"I like you already Aria, a girl that drinks beer I mean damn." Asher spoke after recovering from his choking.

I was about to reply to Asher when I noticed Floyd walking over to me with a smirk on his face.

Wait what's he going to do? Gulping as he put his arms on ether side of me so that they were resting on the table.

"Who knew there was a cheeky side to you? I like it." Floyd whispered so close to my ear that I could feel his lips touching.

A shiver ran through my body, as I tried to catch my breath.

"Theres alot you don't know about me." I replied as he removed his arms from where there were.

Good! Now I might be able to catch my breath!

"Trust me I know that." Floyd replied with his own wink, okay I think it's getting extremely hot in here!
