Chapter Five

Aria's POV

Shrugging in frustration work has been so stressful for the last couple of days and it doesnt help that I have been getting little to no sleep.

Melania aka Mel has also been a total snob for the last week since she set me up with that guy, I thought that she just needed time to cool off but I have realised that I have been completely wrong.

Prof reading my column one more time before I emailed it to my boss, then printed it off, he liked to have a copy of each. I can't understand why though.

Pretty much stomping my way to his office door, I knocked on the door while waiting for him to say enter.

"Come in" he yelled in an annoyed voice. Putting on a fake smile as I walked throw the door and handed him my work.

While I was waiting I heard my phone go off so I quickly checked it and seen that it was a message from Floyd.

Hey Aria,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your review on my shop. I have so many more customers. Please come back a visit soon!

For the first time today I had a small smile, but a clearing of my bosses throat brought me back to the present. Looking up at him, I waiting for him to start talking.

"Its good, there's another job here for you to do but itll take a couple weeks to cover. So you can go home now because on Friday night your on a plane." I went to ask a few questions but like normal I got shooed out the door.

I dont understand how he can be boss when he doesnt even explain things properly. Grabbing my things on the way out to my car I wasnt paying attention and ending up bumping into someone.

Looking up as I was about to apologize before I realised who it was. Melania! If looks could kill.

"Watch were your going fat ass!" She snapped, which made me look at her. I mean really look at her.

That's when I realised that she is just a hateful spiteful person that might be beautiful on the outside but damn ugly on the inside.

"Sorry did you say something." I replied just as the lift went ding and the doors opened.

Not bothering to wait for a reply I walked away with my head held high. Once I put my things in the car, I hopped in and started heading home.

Once I was sitting comfortably on my lounge I started to reply back to Floyd.

Hey Floyd,

Your more then welcome and I am glad that it has had such a positive outcome. I'll definitely be back soon, maybe after I finish the column I have to do?

Pushing send, I laid down on the lounge, while opening the envelope to find out what I need to do.

Looks like I am covering another shop, this one to do with fashion, I have to even model the clothes which I couldn't help but groan at.

Why would my boss want me to cover this review! There are that many other workers that would have been more then happy to do this review!

I know why! It's because I am his lackey that does the wwe work that no one else wants to do!

Reminding myself that all this work will pay off and soon I'll be able to write about what ever I want.

Just as I finished packing I heard my phone go off, but deciding I need to get something to eat asap before my stomach starts to eat its self.

Making myself a sandwich and a glass of fizzy drink I made my way to the lounge room. So that I could eat tea and watch TV.

After finishing the first half of my sandwich I unlocked my phone to read the message I got that ended up being from Floyd.

Yes that sounds great! When will that be? I have a couple more sweets I'd love for you to try!

Would he be one of those sweets I wondered, before mentally slapping myself bad Aria! You know why you cant go there!

In a couple of weeks I actually have to catch a plane which isn't a good thing since I am afraid of heights haha! Yes! I would love to try more of your creations!

Hopefully I didn't sound to enthusiastic, the last thing I want is to come off as more of a weirdo!

Finishing off my dinner and packing away my mess, looking at the time I couldn't help but curse. Shit! If I am lucky I am going to get a few hours sleep.

Yeah I have to catch the plane that early, my boss does things like that on purpose because he looks for the cheapest flights possible!

Groaning I laid down in bed waiting for sleep to over come me.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to come out of the room when I have friends over! Your so stupid Aria! Sometimes I wonder why I keep you around!" He yelled as he slammed the door in my face.

Without my permission my legs gave way and I ended up on the floor in a heap! Why does he have to treat me this way?!

I have done nothing but love him! I have literally gave him everything I have but it still doesnt seem like it's enough.

"ARIA SHUT THE F UP DONT MAKE ME COME IN THERE!" He yelled and I looked up seeing the door shake.

Somehow I must have locked the door without realising, and no matter how much I tried to stop myself from crying and not making noise it wasnt working.

BOOM!

I screamed sitting up while crying, why do these dreams have to haunt me! Isn't living through them enough!

Knowing that there was no point in sleeping, I got out of bed started heading strigjt for the shower.

As I stood under and felt the water wash over me, it wasnt long before my muscles slowly started to relax.

The water starting to turn cold was away of telling me that it was time for m we to hop out.

Pushing the last bit of negative thoughts that was trying to resurface to the back of my mind as I got dressed.

Checking my phone for the time I seen that it was almost time to go and that I have a message from Floyd.

Deciding I have a spare couple of minutes to read and reply to Floyd before I have to catch a taxi.

Sitting down on the lounge I opened his message.

It must be an important job than. Try not to have a heart attack on the plane. Otherwise the new creations I am holding for you will go to waste.. haha oh and message me when you get there. Floyd x

Smiling stupidly to myself, I replied to Floyd, then slowly dreading the flight to come.

Here is a chapter that I have been wondering if I should post but I have decided to continue with this story for now and see where it goes.
