They all walked together to the first door and Charley slowly slid the key into the lock. The door slowly creaked open and they all gasped in amazement, before them stood a horned pegasus. Madison took a couple steps forward and the creature nudged her with his head.
“That’s so cool,” Gavin whispered as he stepped towards the creature.
The creature started to stand on his hind legs, “You’re scaring him,” Madison said trying to calm the creature down.
“How is it, that he is not scared of you?” Charley asked amazed.
“Maybe he just doesn’t like guys?” Madison asked waving Maria over.
The creature started to stand on his hind legs once again, “Nope just likes you for some odd reason,” Maria said backing out of the room.
“Maybe there’s someone or something that talks down here that may have some information,” Gavin suggested.
“You guys go ahead, I want to see if there are any clues as to why he’s here,” Madison said tossing them the key.
As they all walked away Madison took a close look at the horned creature, very curious as to where he came from, she started to look for clues around the stall. She soon found a Long and narrow box in the corner of the stall, the box looked really old,
and well made, “Looks like it’s handmade,” Madison whispered to herself. The box was covered in spiderwebs and dust, Madison wiped the dust and spiderwebs off. As she
wiped the box she started to see writing inscribed on the lid. “MMCG,” she read allowed. Not knowing what it meant she tried to open the box but the lid would not budge.
In the other corner of the room hung a large piece of cloth, curious as she was, she removed the cloth, and hanging on the wall was a portrait of what looked like Maria, Charley, Gavin, and herself. They were all in armor with different creatures by their sides. The horned pegasus next to the girl that looked like Madison, but was smaller in the picture, a baby, all the creatures were babies. What looked like a griffin stood next to the boy who looked like Gavin, a fire breathing dragon next to the girl who looked like Maria. The last animal was what looked to be a phoenix next to the boy who looked like Charley.
Under the portrait was a plaque with names inscribed into it. Amor was the name inscribed under the pegasus, under the griffin was Ariel. Under the dragon was Aidan, and Eir was under the phoenix.
Madison held onto the box and quickly went to find Maria, Charley, and Gavin. She walked farther down the hall of mysterious doors, soon she found Maria in a roomwith ‘Aidan’ inscribed on the door. Inside was a dragon, and Maria was sitting in the
saddle on the dragon.
“Isn’t this amazing,” Maria said when she saw Madison standing in the doorway.
“If you found the dragon, then that must mean that the phoenix and the griffin are here as well,” Madison said walking out of the door to find the guys.
Soon she found two doors across from each other, wide open, she stood in
between the two doors and saw that Gavin was sitting on the floor with the griffin’s head in his lap. On the other side she saw that Charley was petting the flaming phoenix.
“We need to have a meeting, meet me at the round table in five,” Madison said as she walked towards the main room.
Soon everyone was around the table, each had set something down in front of themselves. A wooden semi-oval shape in front of Maria, a short and narrow wooden box in front of Gavin, a long and narrow wooden box in front of Charley, and a semi-long narrow wooden box in front of Madison.
