VICTORIA IN MM
"Girl, Carter King is so fine." My best friend Parker said, pointing to a light skinned boy, more like man talking on the phone by his car, outside of our favorite shoe store. I looked over at the car, a 2016 black Corvette, with the top down. He looked a little young to be able to afford a car like that. Parker was practically drooling over him, and I laughed. She looked at me with a disdain look in her eyes. She put her hand that wasn't filled with shoe bags on her hip. "What's funny, bitch?" She asked.
"Nothing, close your mouth before a bug flies in!" I said, almost doubled over at her slight annoyance. "Who is Carter King?" I asked. She smiled at him flirtatiously as he glanced over at us. More like me!
"You don't know who Carter King is?!" She said, surprised. "He's only the biggest drug kingpin in this city! I can't believe you don't know who he is. I would love to fuck him." She said bluntly. I winced at her nasty words. I grabbed her arm and pulled her into a small cafe directly across from him. We walked over to the woman cashier.
"Can I get a large bowl of vanilla and strawberry ice cream, with hot fudge and sprinkles?" I looked over at Parker, who was still gawking at that man. "You want anything?" I asked. She shook her head and I paid for my stuff, moving to the side so that other customers could order. We sat down at the counter, and I finally took the opportunity to look at this so called sexy man that Parker kept staring at. He had light skin, and short and black curly hair that was lined up around his head. He kind of resembled August Alsina as far as i could tell from this distance. He was cute, but nothing worth getting worked up over.
I turned around just as the woman set my ice cream down in front of me. "Thank you." I said, immediately digging in. I felt eyes on the side of my face, and looked up to see Parker staring at me. "What?" I said, wiping my mouth with the pink napkin.
"You did not need all that fucking ice cream. Just fat." She said in a crazy tone. I laughed and picked up my ice cream, so we could hurry up and finish our shopping trip. I pushed my shoe bags farther up my arm and we walked out the cafe. Carter looked up from his phone and called us over to him. I watched as Parker squealed and pulled me over to him. "C'mon, Vic!"
"I don't know him like that!" I protested, as she kept on dragging me over there. I yanked my arm out of her hand, and watched as she proceeded to chat with this dude. He looked over at me, and smiled. I nodded my head a little in his direction and he laughed.
"What's wrong with her?" He asked Parker, pointing at me.
She looked at me and frowned."Don't mind her, she's just uncomfortable. Now back to us..." She said passively.
He moved her from in front of her a little, and walked over to me. He was standing in front of me now; I could feel his minty breath hitting my forehead."Am I making you uncomfortable?" He asked, touching my shoulder.
I shied away from his touch and moved back a little. He looked at me questioningly."I just don't know you, I would appreciate it if you didn't touch me." I said, rudely. Parker's dumb behavior was starting to get on my nerves. I looked around his big frame, and saw Parker frowning at me.
Stop talking to him like that! She mouthed at me. She walked over to us and touched his arm. "So you have my number, right?" She asked him; he was still looking at me. He nodded his head, snapping out of his trance. I was laughing inside, because I had him gone already.
He turned his head to Parker."Can you give us a minute?" She frowned, but moved away from us. I looked at him as he grabbed a spoonful of my ice cream and put it in his mouth. I thought it was cute.
