to say ronnie was nervous was an understatement. she was going to officially meet the avengers cast. the girl still couldn't believe that she was in the mcu. it was her dream to be a superhero since she was a child and finally her dream would come true. not to mention, she was going to represent her culture and that was what was most important to her. she loved being mexican and everything that came with it and it was finally time to show her people that she would represent them the best she could.

      ronnie started unpacking her things in her hotel room, her home for the next few months. once she was done she made her way to the couch in the living area of the room. she scrolled through twitter casually, liking tweets that made her laugh and responding to a few fans here and there. before she knew it it was time for her to get going for the table read with the cast.

she arrived to the meeting and was welcomed by the casting directors and was told to go find her seat. she tried keeping the attention away from herself given that she was too nervous to talk to any of her co-stars. it seemed to be easy since the crew was just excited to see each other. she saw scarlett and mark hug, chris hemsworth and chris evans shout each other's names, and she gasped when she saw rdj walk into the room. her heroes were all in the same room as her and she could not believe it.

she was almost at her seat when she was stopped by an unfamiliar voice.

"hey! i'm tom, how are you?" she turned around and was met by a gorgeous face.

"i know. i'm veronica," she smiled.

"i know who you are, too. i just figured it'd be polite to introduce myself officially," he gave her a flirty smile.

the girl felt her face heat up, she'd known tom holland was fine, but she didn't know he was fine fine.

"well, in that case, mr. holland, pleasure to meet you." she winked at the british boy and grinned.

tom was not expecting veronica to flirt back right away, but he was glad she did. however, he knew it wouldn't be easy to get her attention like this again. the girl had a bit of a playful glint in her eye.

tom licked his lips before saying, "i believe you and i are sitting together, darling."

veronica nodded slowly, a light smile playing on her lips, "i believe we are."

"shall we?" he pulled her chair out for her and grinned.

ronnie thanked him before sitting on the chair and tom took his own seat right beside her.

on the other side of the room stood sebastian stan, next to anthony mackie.

"you look like crap," he told anthony.

"sorry, we can't all look like gods 24/7." mackie huffed.

"i don't look like a g-" he cut himself off when he looked to the other side of the room.

tom was talking to the new girl who had already planted a seed in his head. the two were laughing and talking, they seemed to be warming up to each other quickly. sebastian felt his jaw clench as he watched them.

"you okay?" anthony asked before looking to where the man was looking. "oh. i told you that kid was onto her." he pointed.

sebastian didn't know how he was getting jealous already. he hadn't met her yet, he knew nothing about this girl yet she was in his head like a bad pop song. he just couldn't shake her off.

"hey guys! good to see you! what's goin' on?" evans exclaimed as he made his way to the two.

"sebby here is jealous, though he won't admit it." mackie grinned.

evans looked across the room and realised what was happening. he smirked, "i thought you didn't like her."

the man relaxed his jaw. "i don't," he looked away from the girl and back at his best friends, "i don't know her."

"right," the two grinned.

sebastian rolled his eyes, "i hate you guys.."

they got to their seats and waited for the table read to start. throughout the reading sebastian caught himself looking at the new girl too many times. he couldn't help himself, she was beautiful.

veronica looked up from her script and was immediately met by a pair of blue eyes. her mouth opened slightly when sebastian didn't look away. she couldn't bring herself to look away, she was lost in his eyes. sebastian was the first to look away when he was called by joe russo, and when he did veronica felt like she had to catch her breath. she quickly looked back down at her script, her heart was racing. she didn't know what he was doing but sebastian seemed to have a grasp on her and she didn't even know him.

      when the reading was over veronica got up and stretched a little, she always hated sitting down for too long, it made her impatient. she decided to go to the bathroom to check herself up. as she walked toward the door of the room she was stopped by chris evans.

      "hi, veronica, i'm chris!" he grinned.

      "hi, i'm veronica but you know that!" she smiled, she was too nervous, she thought she'd embarrass herself.

      "how are you liking the job so far?" he asked.

      "it's- uh, it's not as different as i thought it would be actually. i mean, i've done movies, obviously, pero like, none with rdj... OR YOU! you know? you're great, i'm a huge fan of yours, you were amazing in fantastic four, it wasn't great but it was.. you know- and now i'm not sure what i'm doing, sorry." veronica looked up at chris and laughed at herself. "i'm usually not like this, i'm way cooler, i swear. i have to go to the bathroom now."

      chris laughed loudly, "funny and cute, i like you, veronica."

      "thanks, you're cute, too." the girls eyes widened, "i mean, no. well, yes, you're cute but you weren't supposed to hear that. you know what? i think i'm gonna leave now."

      chris watched the new girl make her way out of the room and walked to sebastian, "i like your girl. she's adorable."

      sebastian looked at chris confusedly, "you talked to her?"

     "oh yeah, we're like this now," he crossed his fingers. 

      seb rolled his eyes, "you should talk to her." chris suggested.

      "i think i might." he finally said.

      chris's eyes widened, "you will?"

      seb nodded, "yeah."

      veronica walked back into the room and sighed contently, she told herself she could do this and she would. she was met again by those familiar blue eyes and stopped in her tracks.

      "hi, veronica. im sebastian." sebastian smiled.

      "hi, nice to meet you." she said, suddenly becoming very nervous.

      "i'm excited to be working with you." he said, "i can't wait to see what you bring to the table." he grinned.

      "likewise, sebastian." she shot him a smile, "i'm a fan of yours, hopefully i'm not disappointed by what i see." she raised a brow.

      sebastian's eyes widened slightly by her comment, he didn't know how to take it. "i'm sure you won't be, doll." he winked.

      veronica didn't let her emotions be seen, she didn't want sebastian to see that he had a slight affect on her. "i like you," she grinned, "i'm sure we're gonna get along just fine."
