STEFI'S P.O.V

-4 years later-

Canada was awesome, yet not as awesome as Orlando.  I'm the one who'd love hometown to the death, so don't blame me.  Can't believe that it's been 4 years.  Riley and I?  We talked sometimes.  We mainly Skyped at night, reporting each other's activities.  He once sent me a guitar as my 17th birthday gift, months ago.  And I sent him a hat with his name written on it as his birthday gift too.  We liked to share stuff or having the same exact stuff.  So I practically had the same hat, and he got the same exact guitar with the different color.  Ever since he sent me this guitar, I can't stop playing with it.  When we were in school, Riley had taught me some guitar keys.  Of course, he can do amazing things with guitar, just like Connor, and lately we discovered that Toby has that talent too.  I asked him to teach me, and he did, in every spare time we had at school.

By the way, Riley, Toby, and Connor were pulled up together as a band now, along with Thomas, Braiden, and some other good friends.  I've always spent my time watching them on YouTube.  And in case you asked, that's the reason why me and Riley had stopped talking everyday.  We still did, but it's not that intense anymore.  They joined The Paradise Tour, and doing band thing was their life now.  I can't be so selfish by asking him to talk to me everyday and bluffed the 'I miss you' stuff to him, even if I know it'd always work.  It's just not the way we run this friendship anymore.  It's no longer fit.

"Stef, where are you?"  I heard Dad was caling me in this beautiful morning.  I strummed my guitar but soon going downstairs to meet him.

"Yes?"

"Sit here.  I need to tell you something serious."

Jeez.  What else.  "Hmm?  What is it?"

"Do you still love Florida?"  He suddenly smirked.

"Uh...Dad...what is it about?"

"You tell me."

"What?"

"Hometown for life?"  He pulled a paper which more likely a ticket for me.

"MY GOODNESS, ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

"Yeah."  Dad smiled so wide and I did nothing but giving him the hugest hug of a lifetime.  "Pack up your stuff.  We're leaving in 2 weeks."

"But how, Dad?  Why?"

"The firm, sweetheart.  I need to go back and be the manager in there."

"Oh my God, Dad, you don't know how happy I am!"  I freaked out in happiness.  Jumped everywhere, from the kitchen to the garage and back again.  "I LOVE YOU!"

"Now you tell me..."  Dad rolled his eyes.  "Now go, tell Riley."

I suddenly stopped jumping and yelling by his one line.  "Dad, no."  I shook my head.

"Oh girl, you're 17.  Say something to him."

"What's it with me being 17?"

"Oh after all the tears and Skype, now you're asking me that?  Hahaha...  Stefi, I love that boy.  It's like he can always protect you.  He's a good best friend, even better guy."

"I...think...I just want to play guitar again.  Yeah."  I choked.  "Thank you Dad."  I narrowed my eyes with the wonderful meaning in it.  We burst out laughed.  I love Dad.  Yay, Florida!
