The cool winter air blew down from the mountain signaling winter was on its way and it would not belong before the snow would fall on this settlement in the next few months, it was these mountains that hid the once small but thriving village during the time Sauron came to power in Mordor. This Village was named the Angulòcë Masto but most elves called it Lòcë while humans and dwarves called it the dragons village. The name it's self made Sauron think twice about marching on the village and Orcs never dared to come close it in fear of the dragons wrath. At the time the village made a pact with the dragons for protection and village would not attempt to take what the dragons gold. The pact stood then and still stands today even in though the dragons on the mountain vanished no one from the village has dared to go an look to see if the dragons treasure is still there so it has been left were it is
...............
At the sinter of the village stood Gweithiril a three hundred ninety nine year old elfling who was standing at the door of her Adar's, hut watching as he talked to some of the local villagers about what needed to be done for their yearly trip to the valley. They knew that there were places in the valley that would buy the extra furs they her village did not want to go to waist but there was a catch. Her village did not use precious metals to adorn themselves to show their status or even to make themselves look better. Theses metals were reserved for special occasions like marriage or the birth of their first child. Most of the time these trinkets are passed from one generation to the next. It was at this point that the village had all come to an agreement to forgo using precious and jewels in this village, but they would still have to mine them for when they were needed especially when they went to the valley. Sadly other places were not like here, precious metals and jewels were a form of pay or showing how much power one had over others. Yeah, they would use them, but not in the sense that most kingdoms and Villages did. Here, in her village, they had Dwarves, Elves, Skin Changers, and Humans all contributing to helping each other even though each race had a special skill.Elves were quick, agile and strong as well as silent they usually helped hunt but mostly scouted for danger. Dwarves were short, sturdy and wonderful craftsmen went they are given the materials the needed they could constructed anything or what ever the order was as long as they had a design to go by. if they chose to utilize their sills in a different way they could, like using ores or jewels they mined in the Earth to make armor or jewelry.
Though Humans were adaptable so usually they were seen caring for a farm of some kind so they were left to farm though you could see some elves growing crops and herbs they need for the winter.
Last, but not least, the skin changers also helped with the farming and raised livestock such as horses, cattle, and other animals so that they have them for when certain animals became scarce in winter they would have a source of meat. Though they are generally found helping the elves scout but once an a while a thief who think they are smart would appear which ends up with the skin changer tracking them down which never ends well for the thief.
Gweithiril let out a sigh at the pleasant atmosphere that the village had nothing could compare. It was nice to see no strife between the members of the unique village. Even in her travels with her father into the valley below she had never seen another village like lòcë. Valley Elves lived in the middle of the forest like Rivendale one of the elven settlements they traded with or Mirkwood ruled by the elven king Thranduil though the trading party never went any were near that forest for the rumor that these elves were ruthless and picky about who they traded with.
Humans on the other hand made there own villages or towns were trade was plentiful or land was rich for growing crops. Theses human were not picky about who they trade with some were very mean when it came to outside trader that did not have a preexisting trade agreement.
