timeline: modern high school au (dont judge me ok)

I'm only writing this because the idea's been in my head all day ok
And this isn't your standard shitty high school au, it's even shittier standard high school au content baybee
for reference, I'm writing these all as a 15 y/o student in America so some of the school and home life oriented stuff may not match up with how school and the culture in your country works

here goes:

-wilson and willow are siblings, as always (rarely if EVER will I characterize them otherwise)
-Wilson's a stressed out junior (16) and Willow is his slightly annoying freshman (14) sister
-Wilson wants to get into a good college BADLY and studies a lot, but Willow is, as I stated, a bit annoying and tends to pull him away from studying a lot. Wilson's naturally pretty good at retaining info anyway so he technically doesn't *need* to study but he does it anyway
-I'd like to think that instead of being immune to fire in DS, Willow just finds it really aesthetically pleasing and dresses in a lot of warm & firey colors and probably has something fire related as her lock screen
-On the topic of character perks, Wilson would still have some facial hair but generally prefers to shave, the exception being winter when he keeps it a bit longer than usual before shaving again bc Chilly Weather

I've just realized that I've placed this AU in an American high school when I can't even imagine most of these characters without a British accent. Fuck

-Willow & Wilson probably bicker a shit ton but would throw hands with anyone who made fun of their sibling any day of the fuckin month
-Wilson's definitely bi but will not admit it to anyone but Willow & even then he's very hesitant to discuss it with her. Willow on the other hand is a massive lesbian and doesn't give a shit who knows, partially because she doesn't think it's a big deal (mood) and because she knows she and Wilson would probably beat the fuck out of anyone who makes fun of her for it
-Willow would also be in GSA too. Idk why but I can see it happening
-Wilson hearing "AND TAKE YOUR SISTER WITH YOU" all. the goddamn. time. the MOMENT he gets his drivers license
-At least he enjoys his sister to an extent though so it's not /that/ bad
-I could see Willow pursuing forensics or criminal justice of some sort tbh and taking like a forensics class or whatever at some point

God I wish I could do that too but as far as I know, my school of over 2,500 kids has ONE honors forensics class & everyone and their mother wants to get into it so I'm just taking all the biomedical science courses like a normie
