timeline: modern high school au part 2

yaaaaay I feel like human garbage again so that means time to word vomit all over my phone screen because I have no incentive to get out of bed and sit at my desk

I'm gonna focus more on like. character relationships in this bit. specifically Maxwell and Wilson because as the entire DS fandom knows, I am a little garbage man for that ship.

alright fucks, here goes:

-We all know Wilson the Stressed Out Junior, now get ready for: Maxwell the Burnt Out Senior Who's Sick and Tired of Life (17, maybe 18 years when the AU's going down).

-Max's already been through the shit Wilson's dealing with and completely lost all drive to go to college and be successful as a result of it, nowadays he just kinda tries to find happiness in little things ((but of course, as everyone knows, school is an absolute fuck so that's quite difficult))

-Maxwell's got a thing for card tricks and he's wowed Wilson with a few while they were supposed to be studying in the library

-I've got a single idea for how Maxwell and Wilson should meet, and I must say it's uh. Kind of edgy so I'll repress it for now. but I do think that for a while they'd have a few of the same classes and just never say anything to each other, possibly get a glance of the other and think "that guy is kind of weird" or smthn to that effect yknow

-Both definitely have mental health issues and in the early stages of their relationship that's like the only thing they really think they have in common, so sometimes Wilson probably just invites Maxwell home when Willow's at GSA or somewhere else and they just kind of lay around and talk about whatever

-Maxwell's got the big Bi as well and Charlie is his peppy (cough probably cheerleader) ex girlfriend that's also a senior

-Max & Wilson end up coming out to each other a bit sporadically, it kind of slips out of Wilson's mouth during an angry vent or smthn and when Maxwell sees the other just. Horrified by what he said he reassures him and tells him that he's bi too so it's fine yknow

ok this is all I'm posting becauseeeee I can feel a fanfic coming on in my head despite me having like,, four or five unfinished stories plus homework and crippling exhaustion on my shoulders atm. should I actually take a crack as writing this shit or no?
