I finally heard his voice yesterday.

The phone rang and rang. I never thought he'd answer.

"Hello?" His voice rang through the phone.

"Hey." I replied.

"Codi?" He sounded so small and vulnerable.

"Yeah." I smiled. My eyes teared up and I could hear him sniffling on the other end.

I finally talked to him. After months of not seeing him and not talking to him, I finally talked to him. It felt like the best day of my life.

I love you too, dork.
