The strong stench of blood was overwhelming. I scrunched my eyes at the bright light that was blaring through my closed eyelids. I felt powerless and heavy. I could not move my hand, my head or my body.
I slowly started blinking, desperately trying to open my eyes and see what’s around me. Where am I? As the blinding light slowly diminished I could take a look around my surroundings. I was in some type of empty warehouse.
"Ah, your awake" Daniel interrupted sitting on a fold up chair across from me
"What do you want Daniel" I sneered
"Did you know the Phoenix's hide all the dead bodies here" he smirked ignoring my question
*sigh* "No they don't"
"Really? You don't smell the strong stench of blood invading your nostrils" He laughed
My eyes widening at his surprising remark
"Fuck off Daniel"
"My little princess has a mouth on her"
"The last time you were merely caught, how do you know you wont be this time?"
"Because... They have other things to worry about" Daniel smiled getting up walking towards me
Bending down to my eye level he caresses my face with the back of his bloody hand
"Who did you kill this time" I asked
"Someone who almost ruined my plans, Actually you might know her" he added
" what the fuck are you trying to say " I Spat out
"She had braided caramel hair, brown eyes, about your age, OH and she was a phoenix" he chimed
"N-no YOU FUCKING DIDN'T KILL HER....YOU CAN'T" I yelled while tears streamed down my face
"OH but I sure did, you wanna see?"
he got up quickly walking towards the third aisle across from me
Dragging out a bloody body that looked like Jenera from afar he stopped
"How rude of me not to introduce you two,
Aadya this is Jenera, Jenera this is Aadya" he beamed
"N-no N-NO YOU CRAZY BASTARD KILLED MY Best Friend" I shouted once again
" baby, she was gonna ruin our beautiful plans " he worriedly patted my head
"DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH ME" I screamed
"Excuse me? DON'T raise your voice at me" he slapped me across the face
Wiping off his dusty pants he smiled at me from up above
" better get comfortable because you will be here for a long time"
" why are you doing this to me? "
I grabbed onto his leg desperately trying to stop him from walking away
"Why am I doing this to you?, because Aadya I love you" He finished saying before striding past me, dragging her body with him
My first night in the warehouse was anything but enjoyable. Cradling myself as I cry out from the pain that he has caused
I start to feel almost a rush of Adrenaline
I quickly run up to the door where he exited from and start kicking it
"HEY DANIEL GET THE FUCK OUTTA YOUR HOLE, I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOUR UGLY ASS" I screamed out loud
5 Minutes later
" NO WONDER YOUR MOM LEFT YOU BECAUSE YOUR A WEAK LITTLE BOY " I finished laughing hysterically
Rushing towards me a strong grip was felt against my neck.
" DON'T you fucking EVER bring her up again because I will have no problem reuniting you with your best friend"
As he finished saying that I start to break out into a fit of laughter.
"Y-y-you think... That killing me will prove a point so be it, I'd rather be dead with my best friend that YOU KILLED " I spoke between laughs.
Still having a tight grip around my neck he looks at me confused
"Wow you really must be crazy" he scoffed
Softening the grip around my neck he smiles
" I wonder why you of all people wanted to see me, could it be that your finally starting to fall for me" he said with a smirk walking around me in a full circle
"No I want to see your Mother" I demanded
"Well that's kinda hard when We don't even talk"
"But we do" I smirked at him
"What?"
"You heard me, her contact is in my phone"
"Now why would I do that?" he finished saying
"Because... I have business with her"
"You...what?" he screamed at me
"Are you gonna phone her or are you just gonna stand there" I sneered
" I'll be back "
I can't do this. Everytime I try to run away someone gets hurt, but not anymore because I will get rid of Daniel myself even if it means I die in the end.
"I'm so sorry Jenera, I couldn't save you" Tears stream down my face
"I texted her, she's on her way"
Daniel said before slamming the door on the way out
Soon enough I will get revenge but right now all I can do is wait it out and see.
