When Dark walked into school, something felt different. Out of place almost, and he had no clue why. Maybe like something was going to happen. He wasn't sure what to make of it, good or bad. He just shook his head, making himself think it was just about that night. Drug dealings were never easy. And, the boys had not choice in the matter. The Boss doesn't expect anything less than the best from his boys. He brought himself out of his thoughts, noticing a teacher glaring at him, clearly eyeing his bandanna. He decided to untie it from his head, rolling up his sleeves and tying around his right bicep, almost as a compromise. The teacher just shook his head and turned around. Dark was too busy glaring at the back of the teacher's head to see the redhead coming his way until it was too late and they crashed into one another. He cursed under his breath as he saw her book bag slide across the hall, hitting a couple lockers. He went after it, grabbing it and looking up, meeting a pair of clear blue eyes.
"I-I'm sorry." Stuttered the girl, and it only took him a second to realize that it was Allison, the new girl Kylie talked about briefly before sucking his best friend's face off.
"It's no problem. I wasn't exactly watching where I was going. This is totally on me." He reassured her, though he didn't know why. Dark Knight never apologized to anyone, no matter how beautiful they were. He looked back at her eyes, but they were focusing on something. His bandanna. He frowned, moving his left hand to not-so-discreetly cover it. He didn't want the girl to fear him or assume things about him for some odd reason. What the hell is wrong with me? He thought, looking back to her eyes that were looking back into his.
"Uh, okay. If you say so." She grabbed the rest of her books and stood up, turning around and walking in the other direction.
"Bye then?" He mumbled sarcastically under his breath, shaking his head. He checked the time and sighed, knowing that he would be late for his favorite class, English. Probably because they were learning about Greek mythology, an easy A for Dark. Every Hellhound was required to speak Greek. It was easy to learn. And people couldn't tell what you were saying. Came in handy for a quick getaway or to let the boys know to draw their blades or, on some occasions, guns. He walked into the classroom a split second before the bell rang, sitting down and automatically taking out his book to read ahead in the chapter about Hercules.
"Class, please welcome Allison Jenkins. Allison, welcome to English." Mrs. Sikes said as Dark's head shot up, his eyes meeting a beautiful blue pair of eyes as he jaw dropped open. Uh oh.
