Lydia walked down the steps to see her boyfriend, Ryan, sprawled across the couch. Rolling her eyes, she walked over, picking up a random Playboy that was laying around, and smacking his forehead.
"What the hell!?" The boy yelled as he immediately shot up, seeing Lydia.
"The briefing? That's going on right now?" She shook her head, seeing the unusual blonde hair that replaced her regular brown. It was weird to her, the full make-over. She changed her hair color and started wearing it down, got contacts so she wouldn't have to wear her glasses, changed her whole wardrobe to short shorts and all Aeropostale shirts, put on make-up, and lost a ton of weight. She knew no one outside of the Cyclopses would recognize her, and that's exactly what her father wanted.
"Right." Ryan mumbled, walking into the next room, followed by Lydia. "Alright ladies, listen up!" Ryan yelled as Lydia rolled her eyes, walking over and sitting next to her twin Zachary. "Today, is a special day. Does anyone know why?"
"We all know why." A boy named Fredrick spoke up.
"Just making sure. Alright, the plan is that Lydia can easily infiltrate The Hellhounds fortress and find out information. She will be our spy on the inside."
"You are making it sound like we are getting ready for battle." Lydia pointed out.
"Because we are! This is important. This is what Mr. Morris wants, and sure as hell what he will get. You need to get in good with Dark Knight, their leader. Get him to trust you. Hell, if you can get him to fall for you, do it! I don't mind." Lydia sighed at that comment, knowing Ryan didn't even care about their relationship. He only said that because he thought it would give him a free pass to do whatever he wants with whoever he wants.
"I don't like that idea Ryan." Zachary spoke up, looking over at his sister. "She just needs to get in good with one of those good for nothing girls!"
"Exactly why we don't have any around here. They are to accepting." Lydia cleared her throat, giving Ryan a look that could easily kill. He gulped. "Anyways, Mr. Morris has been able to provide you with a new car. Something the Hellhounds wouldn't recognize of ours. Here." He threw her the keys as she easily caught them, nodding to him. "Do us proud. Work hard. Keep us posted."
"Will do. If I find out anything, I'll let you know." She said, standing up and walking out the door. Pressing the button, she saw a deep blue Jeep's lights blink, confirming that was the car she was to take. She unwrapped the white and blood red bandana she always wore around her right wrist and slid it into the glove compartment, starting the car and driving to her new school.
Pulling into the parking lot twenty minutes later, she fixed her hair, grabbing her bag and pulling it over her right shoulder as a cute blonde girl came over. Lydia glanced over her quickly, her eyes automatically being drawn to the stormy ocean blue and black bandana tied around the girls right wrist.
"Hey there!" The blonde said sweetly. "I'm Kylie."
"I'm Allison."
"Pretty name! I love your earrings!" Kylie said, smiling to the girl.
"Thank you." Lydia couldn't help but smile back, even though she was talking to the enemy and lying straight to her face. She just internally shrugged.
"Where are you from?"
"Oh uh, Linkin." Lydia lied easily.
"Oh wow. You are pretty far from there. Leave behind anyone? A boyfriend maybe?"
"Just a dad and a twin brother. No boyfriend. I'm not really into dating." Lydia responded, feeling slightly guilty about lying to the girl in front of her, who seemed pretty nice. For a Hellhound that is.
"Oh well, my boyfriends name is Jesse and-" She got cut off by the revving of a motorcycle engine. Lydia could see the black Hellhound design on the dark green motorcycle and knew automatically that was Jesse Brinkson, co-leader of the Hellhounds. So, the boy on the blue bike must be Dark Knight.
"There he is now! I'll see you around!" Kylie said excitedly as the two boys removed their helmets. Kylie automatically walked over and kissed who was now clearly Jesse, while the other boy looked at the two, a small smile playing on his lips as he looked up, seeing her as she automatically turned away, heading up the school steps. She couldn't help but notice the boy was cute. She had a certain feeling in her stomach that was foreign to her. At the moment, she knew she was in major trouble.
