"Please take your seat, Allison." Mrs. Sikes said, and the stood there for a second before she nodded, searching the room for a seat. The class was jam-packed though, so there was only one seat available. The one next to Dark. His eyes went wide as she sat down, and she looked over at him. He ran his fingers through his hair, deciding to look back down at the book and continue his reading. A few seconds later, he looked back over at 'Allison' because he felt like there were some eyes on him. As soon as he looked over, his eyes met hers again.
"What?" He whispered, raising an eyebrow at her. She didn't even know him, yet she was looking at him, almost as if she was judging him. He didn't like it one bit.
"Why are you wearing a bandanna?" She asked, even though she already knew why and who she was talking to. But, he was a guy. He wouldn't look much into it. It took him a second to think, remembering that the gangs from where she was from are more discreet than his. Linkin never gave them much trouble, so the Hellhounds ignored their existence.
"Because I have to. Hellhound rules." He said with a shrug, looking down at the bandanna tied around his arm.
"Hellhound? Like, Greek mythology?" Allisonasked him as he nodded, looking back up at her and smiling slightly. Not many people make that assumption first.
"Yup. Greek mythology."
"What are the Hellhounds? A club?"
"Not at all." Dark said, feeling more and more uncomfortable. He didn't know the girl at all and she was asking questions about the gang. No person in their right mind around the place would be asking so many questions. The boys really didn't like it. And, there was something else that he would never admit. He really didn't want this girl to get the wrong impression of him. And that really got to him, because he usually didn't care what others though of him."More like..An organization?"
"An organization? Okay. If you say so." She said, giving Dark a weird look.
"We aren't too bad. I swear. We are just..Different from most things around here." He attempted to reason, but he knew it sounded stupid. No good guys wore bandannas. No good guys did drug deals and had guns. They were bad. Hell, they were the bad of the bad. But, he couldn't help that anymore. He had to follow in his father's footsteps, no matter how hard it was.
"Hey! No talking you two. Save the flirting for outside of class. Please." Mrs. Sikes said as Beck rolled his eyes, keeping his mouth shut and looking back at Allison one last time. He really couldn't get detention that night. It would have bad consequences if he couldn't go. But, he found himself wanting to spend more time with the girl, having her see he wasn't like everyone else. Maybe one day.
