All three friends had only one dream – to finish their college studies to get a good job. So every Friday the three friends went to fulfill their devotion to Jesus, the Nazarene to ask for a chance to earn and save money. They were willing to work hard if and when they could find a job.
Before going home the three decided to enter the stores even though they did not have any money. They could pass the time window shopping. They could fully imagine buying the beautiful dresses and expensive shoes and bags.
Standing in front of the Valleson Department Store they could not help but stare at the three manikins. They noticed at once that each one looked like each of them. Other shoppers who saw the window display kept pointing at them, then at the manikins.
From the side door of the store they saw a long line of young girls, young women and matrons waiting to enter the doorway.On top of the door was the big sign WANTED SALESGIRLS. The three friends hurriedly joined the line. This was their chance or opportunity to work and earn money for the month of the Christmas rush.
