School is finally over and I walk out groaning loudly as I have to get onto the bus with the rusty dusty loud ass kids.

Someone taps me and I take my earbuds out looking at them

"Aye wassup Rome, where you been?" She rolls her eyes staring at me

"Naw nigga where have YOU BEEN? I texted, called you and ya Ma but yall don't know how to answer nowadays." I shake my head shrugging

"Why you on the bus? What happened to your precious car?" I glance at her before looking away

"It's in the shop, what bout you?"

"Man some dumbass rammed the back of my shit and tried to drive off but I caught his ass and shot his toes off til he agreed to pay me to get my car fixed." I laugh and shake my head

"Um des I gotta tell you some..." She looks down and fidgets with her finger.

I take off both my earphones giving her my full attention

"Yes??" She takes a deep breath

"Do you believe in powers or like vampires and werewolves?" I stare at her before laughing until tears fall out my eyes

"G-girl what dick are you sucking?!" She scratches the back of her neck

"Also about that." I sit up straight and stop laughing straight facing her

"Just tell me mane."

"I'm married to someone and I want you to meet them to night, they are also bringing their sister."  I nod my head in shock that she kept this away from me...and for how long...why would she...

" ummm you can come around 8oclock tonight, is that okay?" I nod my head once again not really wanting to speak with her at the moment.

The bus arrives at my house and Rome gets out with me going to her house and I enter mine not really paying attention to who is in the house.

"Babygirl.." I let out a irritational sigh

"Yes ma." I stop at the stairs

"Come and sit with me for a minute." I turn and sit across from her staring at her without saying a word

She coughs and fix her working tie "um so I've decided to get a divorce from her because maybe I did move too fast and I'm not happy without her. I don't need someone to make me happy because I have you but I am adopting soon because I do have baby fever."
I smile brightly and launch myself towards her hugging her tightly

She chuckles and pats my back hugging me tighter

I get up and go to my room getting my clothes ready for the visit.

I check the time and see it's 7:45 by the time I'm done

I grab my keys and open my door closing it behind me.

I walk to Rome house and knock on her door. I wait two minutes before knocking it again harder this time the door opens.

I slowly step in but look down hearing a slight slash.

My stomach turns as I see blood on the floor

Oh no....

I look around and slowly step in closer not saying a word

I gasp seeing everyone I love on the floor surrounded by each other blood.

I feel a huge pain in my lower back and I turn around seeing a black mask before everything turns black...
