I stood in front of the red sign that said EXIT, Staring it down. 'I will go hide this tonight and hopefully someone will find it..' the alarm sounded, and off we went to lunch. It was hard living here. Seeming as I had been for basically 4 years now. My father and mother were both workers and died from coming into close quarters with the infected individual. People are infected for one reason. The Flare. It had caused everyone to go crazy and then lost all human instinct as animal ones took over, one soon loosing full humanity.
MARE POV:
We had walked to the park. Everyone needed a break from constantly fighting for our lives. I pull the frisbee out of my pack and threw it to Petra. She then Threw it back to me but it had gone over my head into the bushes. I walk over to grab it when I come across a letter. "Hey guys, come here"
"What is it?" Yuko asks, looking over at the paper.
"I dont know" I reply, reading it aloud to the group
"Well, It says to burn it, so I would" Miles stares at the paper.
"Its probably our best bet, lets come back tonight" At that, Onyx walks away
"Yeah, I'm hungry... can we go?" Yuko asks, faintly smiling
We walk back to the house and then eat. We have a full stock on food for our conditions. Cranks aren't getting anywhere though.
Later that night I lead the way back. No Cranks in sight. Weird. We walk under the pavillion to see a girl standing there.
"Ah, Nara!" I walk up and hug her as oohs and aahs are erupting from the children.
"Hey Mare, Long time no see Eh?"
"I guess, 7 years."
"I called you guys here to help me. As you have read the letter, you know what I mean already." Nara states. she grabs out a piece of paper from her pack and sets it on the table. "We should draw plan A to get inside GLOW."
"Hey us, Nara, How do you expect us to get inside GLOW, were teenagers." Aidan stands up, walking to Nara's side.
"Thats when some of my friends come in"
"Pfffft You have friends?" I chime in.
"Hu- Yes! Don't fight me on this. Anyways,
"9 Boys are inside of GLOW we NEED to get out. And they're willing to help. They dont have access to the whole building, but damn near. A guy named Chan, is in there, 17, Male. youngest Is Jeongin, 13. We need to save them. They are the only hope of SOMETHING continuing in this world."
