"I can't believe you're moving out." Victor Stone's mom, Elinore Stone said as her eyes swelled up with tears.
"Mom, don't worry!" Victor Stone said as he began packing the rest of his belongings in his car.

Victor had just graduated from high school in their hometown of Central City and was moving to an apartment in the heart of the city.
"I'm only moving a few miles away. It'll be like I never left, I promise." Victor moved in and gave his struggling mom a long, comforting hug.
"He's right, dear." Silas said as he looked at the two hugging. "He isn't going anywhere far."
"I know but-- but I just feel like you grew up way too fast!" Elinore said. "I guess every mother has to go through this eventually."
"That's right." Silas said. "What do you say we help him finish packing and we can get him on his way?"
"Okay, honey." Elinore replied as she got herself back under control.
"Alright!" Victor said excitedly.
The two parents helped Victor pack the rest of his stuff in his car.
Once they were all done, they said their goodbyes.
"Oh, my baby!" Elinore said as she started crying once more and buried her face in Victor's chest with a dramatic hug.
"It'll be okay, ma." Victor said as he chuckled. He put his arms around her again.
"I am going to miss you, son." Silas said as he moved in and put his arms around his son and wife.
"Oh, I almost forgot!" Silas started as he reached into your pocket. "Hey, Vic? Remember when you applied for a job at STAR Labs?"
"How could I forget. Still waiting to hear back from them, though." Victor replied.
"Well, you know your mom and I are the lead scientists there?" Silas asked.
"Duh." Victor said.
"Well, we got back to you." Silas said as he put his hand out and handed Victor a badge with his STAR Labs ID and picture on it.
VICTOR STONE STAR LABS LAB ASSISTANT
"No effing way!" Victor yelled. "Are you serious?!"
"We had to pull a few strings but you're in, sweetie." Elinore said happily.
"Booyah!" Victor yelled. "When do I start?"
"You start on Friday." Silas said.
"It's only Sunday. I gotta wait that long?" Victor complained as he chuckled.
"Yes, Victor." Silas chuckled as well. "That way you'll have some time to get settled in your apartment and get your new life sort of figured out. You never know what could happen with the Flash running around everywhere."
"Absolutely." Elinore agreed.
"This is awesome!" Cyborg said as he gave his parents one last big hug. "I love you guys."
"I love you too." Both Elinore and Silas said as their hug ended and Victor got into his little car.
He drove off and headed towards the heart of Central City.
