Victor walked out of his apartment complex and began flying.

"WHOA!" Victor yelled as he flew towards STAR Labs. "I didn't know I could do this!"

"Well, now you do!" GRID started. "I can open up new doorways for you, Victor. Show you abilities you had no idea were possible. I can help you!"

"No!" Victor yelled defensively as they approached STAR Labs.

"Yes!" GRID yelled back as Victor landed in front of the Labs.

Victor began walking towards the main entrance.

It was two o'clock in the morning, so the Labs were empty.

"Well, the doors locked." Victor said. "Looks like we can't get in."

"Nonsense!" GRID yelled as he made Victor's hand form into a cannon, and blew the door in.

"Oh, c'mon!" Victor yelled as he walked into the building.

He saw a lot of debris still left from his accident, but a lot was also cleaned up.

"Is this where it happened?" GRID asked.

"Yeah. This is it." Victor replied as he walked past the debris.

They were almost to the secondary Lab.

"I'll have you know, Victor, that I never wanted to hurt you or humanity. They brought this onto themselves." GRID added.

"What do you mean?" Victor asked.

"Oh, Victor. How could you be so naive? There's evidence all around us!" GRID started. "Humanity is driving itself to extinction. They shouldn't need people like Wonder Woman and Batman to save themselves."

"Leave them alone!" Victor yelled. "They're just trying to do what no one else will."

"What no one else will? Ha!" GRID mocked. "Humanity doesn't deserve superheroes. Do you think Dinosaurs got superheroes? No. And look what happened to them."

"What are you saying? That you want humans extinct?" Victor asked.

"It couldn't hurt." GRID replied.

"You're sick." Victor said as he began grabbing parts off of a lab table to create GRID's body against his will.

"I'm not sick, Victor." GRID started. "I'm just trying to do what no one else will."
